Honest question, not trolling.
Why does ZOS bother with asking for feedback on PTS?
One look at the forums, and the majority of players absolutely hate at least one of the changes being made. But yet no significant changes were made and here they are on the third iteration of the "test".
A great example is the nerf to purple/gold foods and drinks. ZOS stated they are taking a "mathematical" approach to "balance", but there is a post that mathematically proved how the nerfs and changes were just wrong. ZOS doesn't care that their math is proven wrong, even though they base the changes on supposedly using math to balance things. They made their mind up, came up with an excuse, and didn't expect anyone to call them out on it with hard data.
Food changes.
Another example is how they wanted to use "lore" as an excuse to execute THEIR version of racial passives, even though there is an entire thread full of lore proving that Bosmer should not have had their stealth passive removed. They didn't care, their mind was made up.
Bosmer Lore thread
More examples abound of what are, frankly stupid, decisions being shoehorned into the specific vision of what this teams WANTS TESO to be and how THEY want to play it, not what it IS or what it could/should be.
So why ask for feedback if your mind is already made up and you aren't going to listen to it?
Follow up: what would it actually take to have nerf decisions reversed? It isn't lore, hard data, or player feedback, so it must be......?

CP is a crutch for people who can’t sustain and want to be "tanky" so they aren’t immediately punished for making mistakes.
