You can select some pretty small shoulder pieces who cover the upper arms and not stand up, or you have some like the light high elf ones who go around your neck but this clips with lots of armor.
No, this shouldn't happen. If they do this, somebody else will coma and say we need hide belts, hands, waists, legs, whatever. In the end, 90% of the players will run around naked.
Stop whining. ZoS has its reasons for not wanting characters to look good. If you want characters who look good, go play another game.
Seriously -- the lack of an ability to hide shoulders is one of the stupidest, pettiest design decisions in the game. What's worse, I doubt it will change, because I don't see why ZoS would have moved helmet hiding to a "hat" category if they were going to stop imposing hideous shoulders on us any time soon.
Agreed. And so many shoulder pieces work so terribly with chest pieces, either floating way off the top or clipped in so badly you can barely see them. Or they just look absurdly over or under sized. There are very few shoulders that look like they legitametely fit on.
I understand that making the changes to allow hiding tassets and loin flaps may not be possible, but could they at least stop adding them to very new style? It's an obsession. Very few styles exist without them, and they even get included in costumes that don't need anything there.
