Hide Shoulders

The Outfit system needs a Hide shoulders aspect or else I will not be buying the Tsaesci Motif if it is for sale. It looks really nice but the light armor chest looks like they already have shoulder which makes all the shoulder pads look terrible with it

If we're going that way then I'd prefer an option to hide each piece of armor. Shoulders, gloves, belt, all of them. Even the chest and pants.

I think it would be an interesting feature to hide each piece of armor or parts of an armor like one side of a glove or have only one shoulder exposed or no shoulders showing. Kinda like that I suppose.

I think adding "hide shoulders" to "hide helmet" under Collections-Appearance would be a very welcome addition.

    However.

I have grave doubts over whether ZOS actually cares to spend developer manhours doing it. [Even though it can't be that technically complicated to do, considering.]

So in the meanwhile I've been using the Outfit system firstly to replace whatever "actual" shoulders I am wearing with the least intrusive looking style I can find. It isn't a perfect solution, but it does help quite a bit, especially as some of the monster shoulders really just do not fit the character model at all (unless said character model is wearing bulky plate or something).

During the pts period, on an ESO live, a hide option was spotted on the developer build of the game for every armor slot.
It was generally assumed we would see it added at some point, so while it may not be available now, it is in the works and may be available in a future update to the outfit system

    Yes, please to hide shoulders.
Every time I use the outfit station, it ends up being a half hour spent just trying to find the least terrible option for shoulders (and ones that don't float too high above my character's shoulders).

The build ZOS were showing off on ESO Live had this feature. Yet it never made it to the actual game...

    Hate them on my characters.

Hide (floating) shoulders. Also, it would be great having Monster shoulders style for outfit. Molag Kena is one I love as a shoulder.

Totally agree (although not sure about the pants, it could get...strange).

I dislike a lot of the shoulders and the majority of the helms although they did far better with helms than many do.

yea i agree that hide shoulder (or hide chest hide boot just not hide weapon) option should be included
until that happen, the smallest shoulder piece i can find is light armor akavari shoulder:

I know @Moshgaz would like the Hide Pants option. He designs his builds around wearing no pants so he's always ready in-case someone dies in a raid. This way he can teabag in style & still wear a full armor set.

Good point but could be harder to implement

I find the new outfit system add tons of flexibility and options and am happy to have it. That said, I would very much like to see (in the outfit system) a box to check for for each item that renders what ever you are wearing in that slot invisible. Yes, it would allow one to hide shoulders but also any other slot(s) that you like. Cute elves with mid thigh tunic & no pants. Khajiits with no hand or foot attire so their claws are fully ready for fighting. Bare-chested barbarians. And, like we already have, bare-headed warriors.

They need a "barely there" shoulder option, for people who hate shoulders. Something really tiny.
And please make it so it doesn't float six inches above their bodies. :/

I'm definitely for 'Hide Shoulders' since it's the hardest piece to find to match with an Outfit. However, I'd rather have, "hide..." options for all pieces.

For those who complain about hip flaps, the problem is, they are PART OF the chest piece and are not an actual separate item so they could never add a 'hide hip flap' because of that reason.

This^^^ I mean there are ways around it: don't set an outift style for that slot, use smaler shoulders like Mercenary, however I also don't like most of the light armor shoulder - either too big or that awful neck wrap style. The Yokudan robe is fantastic, and the awful epaulets hide almost all of the torso.
