Least visible shoulders?

For some reason, ZoS insists on:
  • Making us wear visible shoulder armor.
  • Having shoulder armor be ugly, poorly placed, and/or difficult to dye.
At least, that's the situation for light armor.

Given that -- what are the least obtrusive shoulder choices?

The most inoffensive I've found so far are light armor Redguard 1. Are there less-bad choices than that?

Assassin's league medium, IIRC, was the best I found.

Aren't light armor Altmer shoulders the least obvious ? Because they don't really are shoulders.
They are wrapped around your torso :) The low level version also look pretty unobvious.

Good call! It's big, but it fits along the upper arm rather than floating out into space.

I've been using Assassin's League Arm Cops, and Mercenary medium as recommended above. Also Skinchanger medium, Silken ring epaulets, Abah's Watch Epaulets, Dark Brotherhood Arm Cops can be useful on some outfits.

Ancient Elf are fairly inoffensive. Mercenary light and medium are also not eregiously large.

Thieves Guild Medium is normal-sized, but well placed and blends with a lot of armors well.

Dark Brotherhood medium is decent. Has some decorative flair but fits close to the shoulders. It's good for giving the illusion of more defined arm muscles.

most of the shoulders clip through the chest armors and at some point is no longer the shoulders fault since they are actually placed where they should be but how it fits to different armors...

Any time you feel like complaining about how shoulder pieces look in ESO, just remember this. You're not playing WoW.

I dunno.... quite a few of the shoulders are beginning to look like that ! I was doing a quest in Grahtwood yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that one Prince Naemon in a uniform had the "wingspan" shoulders of a 747 :D
