Vamps need a buff

    The passives need to be changed into a full skill line to avoid everyone defaulting it.

    Each skill should have extra benefits and extra negatives depending on how far your vampirism is gone.

    Vampires are absolutely worthless for anything besides their passives which is complete lunacy. the fact that you can't find a viable build that implements any of their active skills says a lot about how worthless the skill line is overall.

    no one is going to slot mistform, especially in endgame PvE content, that would be a wasted slot better suited to something actually useful, or did you forget that ZoS likes to put in one shot mechanics

When this game came out I just thought well hey, maybe they didn't finish it in time but it sure was cool they at least released some of the skills. That was like 4-5 years ago. No one here is asking to be OP we are asking to have actual skills and be viable. People say the passives are too strong well then nerf them so they are not. Hell make it that none of them work except the increased fire damage (not really a passive) unless you have all three skills on your bar I don't care. we want real abilities not 2 abilities and an ult.

    Unnatural recover is a GREAT passive. Undeath combined with mist and a bit of skill is a great ability. Snare removal, major expedition AND 75% damage mitigation is a super super ability. And bats is a great ultimate when fighting a bunch of enemies. It’s powerful stuff, but not op stuff as it’s balanced by dawnbreakers and fire damage. There’s trade offs.

    Vampire itself is not a class, but rather skill line. It’s an affliction which COMPLIMENTS your chosen class. Vamp is in a good place. Encouraging ZOS to “look at it” will only lead to more nerfs.

    Mist - I assume you mean Elusive mist because its the only morph anyone ever uses. This morph is fine. What about baleful mist? Its straight trash. It has one use, hanging out next to enemies while all your dots are running. Even then its bad to use because you can't do anything while in mist form.

    Batspam - devouring swarm is fine. Its been nerfed a bunch of times and is not op in its current state. mainly used as a oh *** heal button.
    Clouding swarm - Again another trash skill morph. No one uses it because its garbage.

    Drain - Invigorating drain. Mostly OK but its just really a heal/defensive skill

    Also you say its to compliment your class - Is that what WW are doing? because everyone of them's builds are dedicated to werewolf based off sets. Id argue they are playing a WW class.

    Then there's the sorc - A magicka sorc has no need for any of the vamp skills. Every one of them is basically an inferior version of a already accessible ability.

    Im waiting for the "well they are great for DK's and templars only because we don't have any movement skills" comment.

    THIS GUY gets it!!!! I couldn't of said it better myself. A vampire rework is very much needed, I'd love to be able to play vampire to, you know, /be a vampire/ and actually use vampiric skills and abilities. At the moment the class is literally used for just their passives, there is no denying that. The only "good" skill vampire has is elusive mist, which is only good in PvP. The only other thing that comes even CLOSE to a viable skill is sadly their devouring swarm ult. It's a sad day when the only thing they have going for them for the most part is 1 morph of the ult and even then it isn't like, crazy or anything and can easily be replaced by a better ultimate from your weapon, class, or guild skill lines.

    So why not expand on the skill line? I don't exactly think 2 abilities and 1 ultimate + some passives = SKILL LINE. Notice how literally every other skill line in the game has 5 abilities and 1 ultimate....?

    Not every ability in a skill line are useful to all builds. Take Psijic. There’s Undo (the ulti) which many Just SLOT without intending to use, just for minor protection. Then RAT, maybe and deep thoughts...maybe. And hey maybe the passive that’s gives you a stacking shield when blocking. Really that’s it.

    Vamp as it stands is pretty good as it is. With out the fire damage, the passives, unnatural recovery and undeath alone would be truly op. It’s a trade off.

    I’m very happy with my vampire passives but I wouldn’t complain if they added the vampire lord to eso with skills that come with magic and stamina morphs.

    Then nerf undeath and unnatural recovery if they are truly that good. It's not about making every ability in a skill line useful, **literally** none of vampire's skills are useful for PvE whatsoever. Even the healing ultimate is "meh" for the intended class, magicka users, as it forces you to be in the fight instead of at range. It's fine and dandy to have OP passives, but honestly I and MANY, MANY other people would prefer they nerf the "op" passives and add in actual viable skills. Don't try to sell me on the "BuT iTs A pVp ClAsS" thing with the drain and mist form either, because designing a subclass for pvp and not pve/both is, by game design logic, BAD. Also mist form, drain, and bats aren't nearly as good for pvp as people seem to think these days. They can work and in some cases can work well for whatever build you're running, but even then I see quite literally 0 reason why the class should be balanced around "kinda working" in pvp and not "working" in BOTH pve and pvp.

    Vampires should be like they were in Morrowind, vulnerable to sunlight and shunned by most NPC's.

    ESO has a different type of vampire disease, one gifted to us by the first vampire that can withstand the sun.

    The vampiric stages should be in reverse so you get weaker the longer you go without feeding. As it stands there is zero reason to not just hit stage 4 and forget that feeding even exists.

    With Vampires, it the same old ZOS story, as always:

    1. Feature is OP in PvP.
    2. ZOS overnerfs it.
    3. Feature is UP in PvP.

    I once made a Vampire, got cool Vampire sets, made them golden with a lot of money.
    After too many nerfs, I gave back the skill points and now the Vampire sets gather dust.
    ZOS will never understand that balancing means fine-tuning, not hammering around.

    Other things overnerfed and now useless in PvP: LightArmor, Overload Ultimate, Magdens, ...

    I do hope they rework vampire skill line because I think nightblade siphoning skills look more vampire than vampire.

    Maybe the solution is to introduce more world skill lines, giving players more options besides just vampires and werewolves to supplement their class with.
