Werewolf Bite Player Animation

For several months now, anytime a player werewolf bites another player, there is no animation, and the person simply falls down on the ground in agony while the werewolf stands still doing nothing. Can this be fixed, or re-implemented if it was removed? It was a cool animation to begin with, especially for the rp community. Please please please bring it back. And as a side note, somewhat, please add more werewolf emotes. Poll is to determine how other players feel about this.

    When I was bitten a week ago there was animation. When I bit someone else there wasn't. It was disappointing for me since I couldn't tell if I'd done it or not because then the countdown timer didn't start right away. I think it started when the player picked up the quest scroll? I dunno.

    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    Idk I told Gina about it twice as class rep and once after. I think I even passed it to someone else too. Maybe it's not easy fox or people haven't complained enough yet?

    @JamieAubrey yes there was! :) You've been here much longer than the bug, so you might have just forgot what it looks like or never noticed it before. We used to bite the player with the same animation as we devour any other prey, the player would fall and be covered in blood for a bit.

    if you go transform > bite then no animation
    if you go transform > wait a second > bite, then animation plays, it's a bug not a missing feature

    I've only ever been a WW in the last year, so I wouldn't have seen ti for the first few years

    Oh, I never realized it was broken.

    I've been playing since the end of August 2018, and the broken animation (the wolf just... standing there... with the bitten player just... falling down... being the only indication that a bite was given) has been the only way I've seen it work, right up until receiving my most recent bite two days ago. It has always worked that way whenever I've given bites, as well.

    But given the weird way the vampire bite/feed animation looks, draining the victim's blood from a distance, I figured that the lame player-flop werewolf bite was just another example of the devs' wonky interpretation of how these things should be represented in this game.

    They didn't forget to add it, it's been in the game for when players bite other players. It's just been in recent months that for some reason the animation yeeted off and doesn't play (or according to what some people have said, doesn't play 99% of the time but there are rare occasions when it works).

    So yeah this is a bug, not something that's never existed or was purposefully taken out.

    There's a couple synergy animations that aren't working right. I completed the main quest again last month for the first time in forever and the "final blow" synergy animation doesn't play. Making the whole scene a bit awkward.

    No this is clearly forgotten. It happened during pts in wolfhunter when changing animations to werewolf and giving everything touchups.

    Im so sorry for the off-topic request, could you tell them that group finder wont work if you have 2 or 3 people in your group and you are a cp1600+ and/or someone from your group is.

    I used to do the pledges daily with a friend until he hit cp1600, now he is extremely pissed at zos and from joining daily, he just comes once in a month to see if the bug has been fixed

    Someone has probably already said this, but there has been a bite player animation for years. It is just very broken right now. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

    Though it is odd that the animation works when using devour on a killed enemy to get more time. But when you use devour by a shrine to turn someone, then it doesn't work. It's the exact same ability and command, exactly the same animation just different targets and different result.

    Very peculiar.

    I wish that worked. It doesn't matter how long you stand there, transformed. It still doesn't play it. I guess it works for some people but it seems most people have been reporting this bug since Wolfhunter.

    It isn't just this animation. When we use Devour our WW used to straighten up then shake his head and fling blood around. Not anymore. The WW just pops back up real fast and... that's it. And I'm really tired of losing form when I go through a door, they supposedly fixed that but yeah.
