Dunno about that. Majority of hopeless dd's and faketanks I encounter, weren't high PvP ranked players. They normally have a low to average PvP rank or no rank at all.
It's people that can't be bothered making a viable build for the role or people that don't know how to, that's so inefficient you need to replace them. The PvP rank isn't even a factor.
However, I've noticed some mild animosity against people with higher PvP ranks in dungeon pugs. Basically if you join a pug on a char with noticeably high PvP rank, people wont be as friendly at start and more likely start telling you what to do lol. They assume you PvP'ed so much you never had time to learn PvE I guess? Or they hate people with high PvP ranks in general, becuse of how they systematically farm AP.

I agree that PVPers (I’m one of them) should wear PVE gear if they’re going to run vet dungeons.
However, I’m absolutely LOL’ing at the hypocrisy of PVEers in general. They feel it’s not “fair” that they should be expected to wear PVP gear in Cyrodiil, and think the big mean PVPers should leave them alone while questing, but have no qualms kicking PVPers from dungeons because they’re not wearing PVE gear.........
this is not new, the PVE'rs have been doing this for YEARs to us pvp players.
we hated it, and we even got hate whispers, but we never complained.
it will get worse now with that new dps tool, people will make lists about your numbers and you will be booted as soon they see u dont have the numbers they like. they just look up your name on a huge spread sheet online.
i think it not good for eso as a whole.

Anyways, can one of you PVE players create a thread and let us know when you will be hosting the "We love PvP players" event. I'm sure all those PvP players and I would appreciate it for not trolling you do during the event. I would love to be carried through all the hard trials for skins.
Thank you in advanced!
I had a Former Emperor that couldn't hold agro on enemies.
It’s a fallacy of to think most PvP players are good at PvE. Many bad PvE players go to PvP because they are bad.
It is also a fallacy to mix alliance rank with skill. Many players have gained a lot of AP via zergs and it merely takes longevity of that behavior to make it to high alliance ranks.
This is not to reflect on all PvP players. There are great PvP players and many are great at PvE. It’s just to say there are many bad players in both PvP and PvE.
The moral of the story is you can bring your PvE builds into Cyrodiil and do well, but you can't bring your PvP builds into Dungeons at all. Unless you're a DW or caster.

TBH what did you expect. It’s a game populated by people who spend hours upon hours playing it and doing nothing else, and these people will inevitably get bored and find other things to do, like griefing “questres” [sic].
Of course this was going to happen, it probably wouldn’t have if PvP week had gone differently and everyone was courteous to each other. A few no-lifers ruined it for the majority and caused the bad feeling intentionally, and now some of the PvE population will look for revenge.
Next year, maybe people will behave differently and the event will be a positive one.
Until then, it’s just a game, and I will happily participate in the vendetta, even though I have skipped this event since brain dead fetch quests are not my thing. 10K bounties for any and all PvP kicks on PC EU provided adequate proof is submitted.
You get a bounty, and you get a bounty, EVERYBODY GETS BOUNTIES!
G’Day!

Maybe don't join Veteran next time? Normal difficulty pledges give the reward box anyway.
I play both PvP and PvE frequently and I don't think it's too hard to do both. It's your decision to dedicate yourself to only one of them but then act accordingly. Those PvE players complaining about Cyrodiil were ridiculous enough and now we get this? At least PvE players' complains didn't affect my in-game experience but now this is going to affect me. Don't join Veteran DLC Dungeons if you're clueless.

LOL, what do you mean NOW PVEers will get their revenge? PVEers have been kicking PVPers from dungeons for not wearing meta gear since this game started. Why have a silly “vendetta” because YOU refused to prepare yourself for a PVP zone? If you don’t want to get ganked in PVP, you need to wear appropriate PVP gear. Seriously, ALL you guys had to do was throw on 5pc Pariah, 5pc heavy Fortified Brass, 2pc Chudan/Pirate, all in impen, and you could have face tanked every wannabe ganker or door sieger.
You want to know why people targeted PVEers? It’s because there are dailies to KILL X NUMBER OF PLAYERS, and PVEers made themselves easy targets by REFUSING to gear up appropriately for a PVP environment. And yet you’re so entitled that you take pleasure in kicking PVPers from dungeons because they’re not geared appropriately and think you’re justified in doing so, because you got killed in a PVP environment while wearing PVE gear.
The hypocrisy, I tell you...

That's funny, a common trope I hear from PvE players is how pvp is so awful (players, lag or both) that people go back to PvE. However, neither of us have anything other than anecdotal evidence to support this. Not trying to argue, my experience has generally been the opposite of yours.
I think the bad players that hide in a Zerg deflect the exposure that happens all the time in vet 4 player PvE content. Bad players just hide easier in PvP. They are typically just as proud of alliance rank or BG titles as people who got carried in Dragonstar and wear the title. I see little difference between the two, which makes the animosity they have towards each other hilarious to me.

Never PUG vet dungeon, I do not even PUG dlc normal dungeons, I always do those in trusted group of guild/friends members.
Don't misunderstand me I do not mind teaching some people about mechanics in vets however I would like to know in advance since I cannot always have time to do 1 boss per hour.

No, but using proper gear/traits with a proper rotation with dots and spamable does.
The 2h and 1h/shield, running their 5 button 'oneshot' combo from PvP and cant understand why their DPS is not above 10k is where my line go.
- Normals, I dont care. You can be as bad as you want. I can solo those places anyway.
- Veterans. I do care. Stop wasting my time....
