[*] Are you considering pairing any of the sets from this patch with existing sets? If so, which ones?
[*] Do you have any other general feedback?
    [/list]

I am looking at combining one new set with two existing sets to try to restore some sneakiness to my Bosmer:

    Night Mother's Embrace
(2 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(5 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 items) Reduce the radius you can be detected while Sneaking by 2 meters. Reduces the cost of Sneak by 25%

    Vesture of Darloc Brae
    2 – Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
    3 – Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
4 – Reduces the radius you can be detected while Sneaking by 2 meters. Reduces the cost of Sneak by 10%.
5 – While crouching, you restore 670 Magicka and Stamina and heal for 670 Health every second.

    Night Terror
(2 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina
(3 items) Reduces the radius you can be detected while Sneaking by 2 meters. Reduces the cost of Sneak cost by 27%.

    Feedback:
Can you please consider moving the radius detection of NIght Mother's Embrace from the 5 piece slot to the 4 piece slot? The reason I ask is because it is currently impossible to try to restore Bosmer sneakiness closer to what it used to be and to also experience the 5 piece bonus from the new set (Vesture of Darloc Brae). We would currently have to run this setup:

    5 piece Night Mother's Embrace
4 piece Vesture of Darloc Brae
    3 piece Night Terror

As you can see, our Bosmers won't have the ability to use 5 pieces of the new set while we try to reclaim some of the sneakiness that was taken away. It would be nice to have the option to select 5 pieces of Vesture of Darloc Brae and run 4 pieces of Night Mother's Embrace. Thank you for your consideration!

Perfected Eye of Nahviintaas – Healer
    2 – Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
3 – Gain Minor Aegis at all times, reducing your damage taken from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
    4 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
    5 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
5 – When an ally activates one of your synergies, you and the ally who activated the synergy get 12% cost reduction for non-Ultimate abilities for 3 seconds. This effect can occur every 6 seconds.

This set is very lacklustre at the moment. as a healer, I get fairly good uptime, but it offers very little support (less than 2 percent cost reduction if they receive perfect orbs (they don't frequently have to use my cleanse synergy, and with it that ups to about 3.5% reduction, assuming they can always have a debuff up). Please increase the support portion of this set. It's named after a golden dragon end trial boss, let it shake up the healer meta. Personally, I think it should surpass both hircine and worms with skilled gameplay, and be close to as effective as a baseline, so that mixed (mag and stam) groups benefit from this set at any skill level.

Possibly change it so that allies who activate your synergies get a flat x% back to each of their resources? the 6 second cool down at the moment is almost never used as the people not wearing this set do not get that many synergies. It feels good to wear it, but in terms of support, there's not much reason to wear it over other sets, especially hircines or worms in optimized groups (and this should surpass two dungeon sets for optimization).

The nerf on earth gore is nice but the main problem remains that it works automatically and players without any own doing. Make it that such sets require some kind of active player work to proc it.

Please make both earth gore and troll king only proc on direct heals or first tick of a hot.

Can we change the one piece bonus of engine guardian? Hp regen on the one piece does not really fit this set. A tri regen would be really cool as 1 piece

Maybe there is still time to add this set? It would be perfect for the Necromancer theme...

    NecrophiIiac's Pathogen
(2 items) - Adds Max Health
    (3 items) - Resurrect allies 25% faster
(4 items) - Adds Max Health
(5 items) - Enemy players who crouch twice in quick succession within 10 meters of your dead body become infected with a lethal pathogen that deals 10,000 disease damage every second until the player expires.

Agreed, I have healing on one bar and damage on my back bar, but couldn't get it to proc while doing any damage. Also if/when it does proc the visual effects should be different for each condition, i.e green circle for the healing (which is all I have seen) and maybe blue circle for the damage. Also does the "Mount" not actually spawn because all we could see is the growing green circle under the player?

Is there a reason I can't get it to proc when doing damage?

SAME: I kept seeing a green circle appear, not knowing if it was damage or healing... also I was expecting to see some sort of a "mount" spawn,,, like a small pony or something.

In the last PTS cycle where the racial skills were rebalanced, originally Khajiit were going to be given a racial passive that reduced the radius they could be detected while sneaking by 5m, instead of the 3m on Live. This was later reversed because it was shown that a Khajiit wearing seven pieces of medium armor with full Improved Sneak passive, the full racial passive, plus the Night Terror 3-piece bonus and the Night Mother's Embrace 5-piece bonus could effectively become undetectable by hostile NPCs.

With the addition of the Darloc Brae set, this issue comes into play again. Given ZOS's actions in the last PTS cycle, I can only assume that the intention is NOT to allow a race to become undetectable.

I propose that you fix this problem by capping the amount of stealth detection radius reduction available to players at whatever the 7-piece Improved Sneak Passive is, plus 6m of additional detection radius reduction from any source, whether it be racial or gear-based.

This means that Khajiit get utility out of their racial passive which allows them flexibility in gearing that other races do not currently have (although Bosmer should also have it still, I will never forgive that decision), but also allows all other races to achieve the stealth cap through gear if they choose to limit themselves to only using stealth detection radius reduction sets (5 pieces NME, 4 pieces DB, 3 pieces NT), all in medium weight.

It also means that no player will be able to be undetectable through the use of both racial passives and the three stealth detection radius reduction sets.

    Changed Set Feedback:
    • Leeching Plate:
The increased proc rate, direct Health bonus, and radius are welcome changes! The proc is more reliable this way.
    • Essence Thief:
The proc on LA is a welcome and the visual for the buff is more reliable to obtain. The 5 second duration does make it tough if you are using this set on a bow build (and thus are farther from the proc spawn location). If any changes were possible, I would welcome an extra second or two to retrieve the buff due to the pitfalls of encounters with mechanics that may make picking up the buff more challenging in that 5-second window.

    General Feedback:
Another set that could use some performance tuning for expanded utility under the Necromancer theme:
    • Nerien'eth Monster Helm/Shoulders:
Thematically, welcome to Lich-ville. Operationally, welcome to an unreliable source of damage. The small radius of the AOE and 2-second window to get out of the way to completely avoid damage provides little pressure in PvP and usually means that trash mobs have moved out of the way or are already defeated in PvE.

The proc off direct damage already minimizes the chance of having maximum up-time and the 10% rate makes it even less likely. It may hit for a lot, but it rarely hits anything that can move. The fact that it is easy to walk away from, can be blocked if you are too lazy to dodge, is stationary, and has a radius that provides opponents time to ponder the mysteries of the universe are all fine reasons for a change. I think many could even understand a reduction in damage if that increased the chance that the proc actually hits things reliably.

Please consider making this set more reliable to proc by upping the % chance, radius, or mechanism for proc. For players hopeful for something thematically fitting for a Necromancer but comparable to Valkyn Skoria, Nerien'th could use some love.

After testing Essence Thief in duels, it is absurdly good in duels. Only issue is sometimes its hard to see due to so many spell affects.

I imagine for more general PVP and dungeons it will not be as desirable as you do not have as much freedom to go get the proc.

I like the new sets, also updated sets like Leeching is nice, tested for some tanking fun. :)

Oh and Necro tank is REALLY fun, so much options on how to build it and be efficient. It is fun, more fun than had in a long time.

Also, about Earthgore. The buff to it that it cleanses all effects is way overtuned and a huge pain point on pvp. I think it should not cleanse out ultimates, Negates, dk banners and so on should be stronger than a monster set, imagine the typical group running several Earthgores and just being immortal because of those alone. It healing on 1 target does not matter in Cyrodiil, it taking out all effects is way too strong and so massive pain point that it is like wormhole of pain points.

Please, pretty please consider changing Earthgore to not take out ultimate skills atleast. So it can clear Oils and other siege damage layers, but not Ultimates. Negate, dk banner and so should be the counter play against Earthgore groups. Please think this thoroughly. I have faith in you. @ZOS_Gilliam

You can't restore Bosmer sneakiness with a set bonus because as of right now there are no Bosmer, just some generic elves who have higher than average stamina. Bosmer are supposed to be very sneaky and good with bows, the current "Bosmer" are neither and have no flavor.

Regarding the sets themselves, the same time Bosmer were erased from the game, they messed around with giving Khajiit -5m stealth radius and the ended up being almost equivalent to an Oblivion character with 100% chameleon, so much so that they had to reduce it back to the previous -3m radius.

Isn't having this set going to put them back to "I look you in the eyes and steal the food from your mouth without you seeing" territory again?

Leeching Plate changes are great, but it would perform even better and see more usage of the cloud was centred on the user.

General feedback: almost all the older crafted sets, aside from Julianno’s maybe, need updating. Stuff like Spectre’s Eye, Armor Master, Daedric Trickery are so antiquated and underpowered compared to modern crafted sets—dropped gear runs circles around them.

As mentioned in another thread on Vastarie's Tutelage:

"For some time now Zenimax is trying to give some love to the hybrid builds through the implementation of balanced crafted sets like Shacklebreaker, Pelinal and Axiom. The newest one in this line that we'll get soon is Vastarie's Tutelage. However the five items bonus is quite situational and other than the 10 seconds we'll get when we have a dead buddy to resurrect, it will practically do nothing for the player, compared to let's say Shacklebreaker, where the 5 items bonus is constant. In other words, my no self-respecting dunmer is going to pick it over the current alternatives. Could it be better and how?

In my opinion those 258 weapon and spell damage should be constant, and the cost reduction of the abilities can be used after a res / synergy etc... Or we can remove the Health bonus and actually add 3% constant cost reduction of all spells to make it actually viable."

Here are some options for this set IMO:

    Vastarie’s Tutelage - 1

    2 – Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
    3 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
    4 – Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
    4 – Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    5 – Adds 150 Weapon and Spell Damage and 3% cost reduction to all abilities;

    Vastarie’s Tutelage - 2

    2 – Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
    3 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
    4 – Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
    4 – Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    5 – Adds 150 Weapon and Spell Damage and 657 Weapon and Spell Critical rate at all time;

    Vastarie’s Tutelage - 3

    2 – Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
3 – Adds 1487 Spell and Physical Penetration
    4 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
5 – Adds 250 Magicka and Stamina Recovery

In any case, I hope this set gets fixed in a more versatile direction than the current version of it. Hybrids are fun, but need a bit more more diversity to be made truly viable.

It would have been way easier to know it if it appeared officially in one of the Patch Notes.
It was one of the first thing i asked when the "Official" Discords were created, buffing Healing Done to at least 4% to be more in line with the other stats since it can only be increase by the CP crits star, contrary to the other stats on sets.

If this change effectively affects all the old sets in the game, it means, theoretically, that they should also take a look at Minor/Major Mending and the Argonian passive.
