It's a key quest in the Rivenspire zone and Darien Gauter is bugged and keeps saying have at me foul creatures, so many are waiting for this even when I log out and log in to try a different sub instance there's still around 20 people waiting for it.

    Yes, just logged in this morning and he's STILL bugged. It's actually been like this since April 9th, at least for me. PLEASE FIX THIS, I cannot progress otherwise!

    It is possible to complete if you are VERY lucky and manage to find an un-bugged instance or attempt it straight after downtime.

    I jumped phases for an hour last night attempting to sort this to no avail. Then went and did something else and came back later, when I suddenly found myself in a phase where it was un-bugged

    It seems like almost all the phases are bugged now, as I have tried at least a dozen times...

    EDIT: I just tried twice more AFTER the 4-11 maintenance and it's still bugged.

    Judging by all of the complaints/bugs on this forum, I have my doubts that this is very high on their priority list. *sigh*

    FFS it's still bugged. Even after have sad that they found the problem to phasing qust bugs. God damn lairs.

    Yeah, regrettably it's the multiple triggers from folks running in.

    Kill all the mobs you can find in that GY, then EVERYONE has to back off until the encounter resets. No exceptions.

    @Sihnfahl That does not work as new people are coming in every sec. And those that back off does not go back far enough to make a difference anyway.

    Then the quest as it stands cannot be completed when you're attempting it. We've reported this issue since Day 1 Early Access.

    Short of either a server reset and being the first on scene, or being there at non-peak hours, it will not get done.

    @Sihnfahl Yea either you need to find an instance that is not bugged by logging in and out for 5 hours until you find one or be first on it after a server reset.

    It sucks balls that this quest is bugged as its the main story arc for the zone. If had the resources I would do a hostile take over on Bethseda and then fire all the lazy ass devs that don't spend all there waking time to fix this quest.

    Actually, I got lucky and finished it; it was observation that led to a potential workaround.

    It's the other folks who're having issues.

    The problem is....

    it seems Zenimax just does not care. These quests were bugged in BETA, months before release and they refuse to fix them. Not sure what the hell they are doing over there at the offices, but fixing progression blocking bugs is not high on their priority.

    If they gave two *** about this, they would have GM's always on standby to reset the quests or something. Hell us paying customers are not even worthy of an official response saying they are working on it and here is why it's been MONTHS since they fixed it. Just silence. I love the game, but honestly this is some OF THE WORST customer service I have seen in a western MMO. This is the kind of *** you expect from one of those korean mass produced F2P grind MMO's, not a supposed AAA sub based MMO.

    Well either you do this quest @ times of low populations or move on to the desert. If you move on you can always come back to check every once in a while. I understand that its frustrating, but its a known bug and they are probably working on it, if they are not that meens that there are BIGGER issues out there! They dont have a million employed people. Their staff is working hard.

    Still bugged. If you can not fix it, just make possible to player to skip this part of quest.

    Bugged for me last night. logged out. logged in almost 12 hours later this morning and it's still bugged. please give us the ability to skip this quest if you're not going to fix it. thanks!

    Still busted about 20 of us standing around and every time it is about to be reset someone runs up and messes it up.

    I got this to work this morning with pure luck. Logged out last night behind the big rock. Early this morning, I logged back in and nobody was near the graveyard. I walked over, got the waves to spawn. After i killed them the quest updated and was able to move forward. It bugged again a few seconds after i completed it when people ran into the graveyard. I had just enough time to kill the waves and gargoyle before it bugged.
