ok i have a droprate around 1 motif pr 7 box and 1 lyris page after around 15/20 box have i have 5 pages so far

57 boxes open, 5 Lyris pages. Not too shabby, I guess the drop rate is 1/10 as usual.

Two of them are duplicates, but people don't want to trade them. Most don't have duplicates, the others want to straight buy them. I figure I'll keep pressing for trades while farming the rest. Should be enough to get the set.

And if not, that last week is gonna be sweet.

Takes about 5 minutes to log in a toon, do sorts and log out. If that, I think my average time is around 4 minutes. It'll take under 1h, or maybe a liiiittle over 1h, and you're guaranteed to make at least 4.2k per character, per day, from quest gold reward alone. That's 1k per minute of basically pure profit, not to mention what comes inside the writ rewards. It's just 1h... All the grind you'll need to do to buy anything you'll need, unless you're a meta chaser.

I disagree with your time estimate - 5 minutes would be about how long it takes me to log on and off a character.

I'd also suggest that it is quicker if you have a supply of pre-made daily writ items in your inventory and simply have to pick up the writs and drop them off. If you have to make the gear, drop it off, open the boxes and bank/sell any items you need to clear your inventory, your looking at 10-15 minutes per character.

I made the most of the first week and did either 6 or 7 daily writs on 20 characters across 3 accounts every day for 6 days and it was taking me 3 hours or so. I basically sacrificed all other aspects of the game as I knew it was my best chance to get some of the latest motifs I was missing (I got at least 12 that I didn't know - Elder Argonian, Dead Water, etc).

I tried that. Did not work for my characters. And the character made the extras, so it wasn't an issue of the character not actually creating the item for the writ.

I have to make each item after obtaining the writ in order for the system to recognize the writ is completed.

Even so, it only takes me about 10 minutes to complete 6 writs and get 6 boxes.

Think I’ve got two from two first couple days. Doing all the Wb / Delve dailies. Met some cool people while doing the gryphon bosses in Summerset. Was cool bullshitig with them while waiting on the boss. Finally went to Murkmire for the first time. Was blown away by how cool the zone is. Ended up getting all the WB dailies in Goldcoast. Everyone was sharing quests, and a lot of people there. Kinda cool seeing that many people since I play late night till early morning. Really enjoy seeing other people’s characters and how they mog their characters. Some really creative looking set ups. Got a infused briarheart greatsword of a random normal mob while doing one of the delve dailies. That’ll sell for a nice chunk. Got quite a few motifs I didn’t know yet. Always glad to see them since crafting is my favorite part of the game.

Oh yeah, I also got a couple Lyris motifs. All in all I’m loving this week. Running around enjoying all the sites in them game is pretty fun.

The problem with using tickets is you can't have over 12. If you had 12 on the first day that means you probably waisted some to make sure you were full at the beginning of the week. If you manage them correctly after that you can get 14 more for a total of 26 to be used in those 7 days. That is only 5 pages with one ticket to spare.

since the new week ive gotten roughly 40 boxes, 0 lyris pages and 3 motifs, Most of the boxes had 20 lorkan tears and something worthless like 5 bast etc. Something seems to have been changed since the last week

My principle on these events now after so many and getting exhausted is if they reward you for doing stuff you are already doing regularly to play the game, they're fine. The moment they take you away from enjoying the game with how you play, nope. This week's event is terribly grinding. The crafting well was personally awesome. I have 15 crafters and I do the dailies already for gold etc, so getting a nice bonus on top of everything was rewarding for an event. It didn't disrupt my play at all, and after finishing like usual, I could go PvP or quest like I usually do. Not so for these events. Time Invested: Reward ratio is too dismal for this week. PVP rewards may be real fun with town dailies where you can do a lot of them in a quick time if you're good, but otherwise, this week is awful.

Ok, reading this it seems that the drop rate of Lyris' pages is the same or even lower than Prophet's. Which is completely absurd as Delve and WB daylies are way more time-consuming and they even made separate boxes. With the same or worse drop rate.

I also haven't got a single Lyris' page. From about 8 boxes though, but still...

I'm not so sure. Aren't some Cyro quests not daylies but repeatables? So you can take another the moment you hand in the previous one? Will those give rewards?

I did get a couple of Lyris, but I'm taking a holiday break today. Getting rewarded (even when the rewards in some boxes were pretty meager) for doing crafting writs which I might do anyway was great. Bosses and delves has felt hectic and disappointing. I don't use outfits so the style pages are just diluting the loot table as far as I'm concerned. I've gotten no motifs from the bosses and delves I've done, unless you count the draugr motif in the undaunted, not the jubilee, box, and the crafting materials I've gotten have been pretty standard issue. Amazingly, things that are fun to do now and then become unfun if turned into a grind. If the hoped-for rewards for grinding fail to materialize, you're left with, "Why am i doing this rather than something more useful or enjoyable?" Today is definitely eat some cake, feed the horse, and collect login rewards only as far as ESO is concerned.

I dont bother doing quests enymore. I just buy some for tickets, and than buy the rest for gold. They are really cheap.

Not sure how many other share this opinion, but I don't really want Lyris motif. I don't want to run around like a copy cat of a major character in the game. Nah, feels off to me. If I get it I will sell it or trade it. But can't say I really want any of their outfits.

These Boss boxes do seem to be much stingier than last week's Crafting boxes. Last week I was often getting up to 4 different things in a single box. This week it's usually just a little crafting materials or alchemy reagents and that's it.

Day 1 of the event I must have hit RNG gold cause I only did 6 bosses/delves and got 4 Lyris pages, but I've done so much more yesterday and today without anything.

I guess it's just RNG being RNG.

10 Rubidite Ore and 10 Regulus
2 Rekuta and 10 Lorhkan's Tears

This week's event boxes suck compared to last week's. To be honest, I'm getting far more from the regular Zone Daily Boxes that come with them.

Week 2 feels more like chore. And the page drops are lower for sure it seems with lyris.

I've had 3 pages thus far, and the prices were like 20-35k on MM, kind of shows they are rarer.

Week 1 I was swimming in prophet pages and their value was hardly anything.

Agree. I've gotten A LOT of boxes this week that have just 5 [insert housing mat here]. That's it. Compared to the first week, before maintenance specifically (I would bet money that the drop rate was tuned during maintenance because too many people got ciphers on day 1) my drop rates have been abysmal recently.

I can handle eh RNG when I'm doing that stuff anyway, like crafting writs. When it's taking a whole day to get half the number of boxes for three times the work, nah. Not worth it. I'll do an Undaunted a day from here on out on baby alts for the guild line rep. Maybe Murkmire on my main who still needs to finish that zone.

8 boxes (did CC and Summerset each day) -- got a Sapiarch chest motif and two Lyris. Both Lyris were Shield, though. Fortunately for me I'm not desperate for the Lyris stuff and actively dislike the chest and shoulders.

But after the relaxing time doing six crafting dailies across each of six alts in a time each day that matches what it takes for me to get two delves and two WBs in the current event, I'm not finding this as fun. Especially since prolonged movement and combat in ESO is physically painful for me thanks to a frozen shoulder and ESO requiring much more active and constant keyboard use in any aggro area than my other MMO.

Happily the tickets come from the cake, so the Jubilee Boxes are just nice extras.
