It takes ~ 1 hour to do them without addons and you may listen to some live stream, watch TV in parallel, eat, speak with family, play with dog whatever in process. And you get stable income of gold, surveys and gold tempers so you can skip any other types of grind.

Buff was fully active. I do crafting on 12 alts. I got all the jubilee boxes just got crap out of them. I had one char who accidentally got a bounty. and when I got her box open there was the shoulders. But I had happily deserted the event and see no fun in another day in doing these incredibly boring events same as I have done it seems already this year.

I'm just doing the things the characters would normally do, and taking advantage of the extras. Most need the Undaunted passives still, so we're doing those dailies. They're helping to complete a Briarheart set by doing the Wrothgar ones, and so on.

And so I'm getting a decent drop rate on the things I'm not explicitly chasing. Got two Lyris pages from the first four boxes, FWIW.

7 quests and 1 page and 1 motif so far. Sure does take a lot longer to do the quests but with the weekend coming up I might be able to get enough quests in for some most of the style pages this week.

I opened over 70 jubilee boxes yesterday and only got 9 lryis pages. They definitely are pretty rare (seem to be more rare than Prophet).

As the lyris style is of no interest for me personally, im doing maybe 6 of the easiest, in terms of location from picking up and handing in WB dailies, in summerset, but i have gotten 1 page so far, the legs.

Two days: did ALL WB's quests and some delve ones on my main and I am at ONE Lyris Style Page - decided to just go and buy the remaining ones. Not worth wasting my time on doing these dailies.

Drops indeed seem a bit low. Much lower than the prophet's outfit. And even the other rewards seem to be worse. I mean, come on, I have had much more interesting items in opening the regular quest rewards crates than the anniversary one.

RNGesus doesn't favor us those days, fellows.

Twenty eight (28) daily's and 1 style page, but you can purchase them for crowns.
Prophet drops were (for me) approx 1 in 6 Jubilee boxes, now it is 1 in 28.
Seems like style page drops were nerfed as a way for ZOS to make $$

You only have to eat the cake for the tickets. No need to do a bonus-box activity.

(And conversely, you don't need the cake buff to get bonus boxes. Half my alts were still rocking Jester Pie xp buffs last week, but got boxes from the writs.)



Aaaaaanyway - I've done maybe 8 delves (4 yesterday, 4 today), and have gotten 2 pages. One, of course, a dupe of the one I bought this morning because my tickets were maxed out. (which I then deleted)

Same here - lots of Anniversary boxes with junk in them but not a single Lyris page. Was able to get at least one Prophet page per day. No one I've talked to has gotten and Lyris pages either. Too much of a time sink for too little pay back. I can farm for worms and get more than in these drops lol.

Takes about 5 minutes to log in a toon, do sorts and log out. If that, I think my average time is around 4 minutes. It'll take under 1h, or maybe a liiiittle over 1h, and you're guaranteed to make at least 4.2k per character, per day, from quest gold reward alone. That's 1k per minute of basically pure profit, not to mention what comes inside the writ rewards. It's just 1h... All the grind you'll need to do to buy anything you'll need, unless you're a meta chaser.

I disagree with your time estimate - 5 minutes would be about how long it takes me to log on and off a character.

I'd also suggest that it is quicker if you have a supply of pre-made daily writ items in your inventory and simply have to pick up the writs and drop them off. If you have to make the gear, drop it off, open the boxes and bank/sell any items you need to clear your inventory, your looking at 10-15 minutes per character.

I made the most of the first week and did either 6 or 7 daily writs on 20 characters across 3 accounts every day for 6 days and it was taking me 3 hours or so. I basically sacrificed all other aspects of the game as I knew it was my best chance to get some of the latest motifs I was missing (I got at least 12 that I didn't know - Elder Argonian, Dead Water, etc).

Just because it may take you several hours to do writs on x number of characters doesn't meant it would take that long for other people, especially if they have fewer characters than you do. There's also an addon that will automatically craft your writ items when you interact with a crafting station; on 15 characters I can do all seven writs in around an hour with it.

As for this week's motif drop, I haven't gotten any yet myself, but I don't think the rates are lower than Prophet stuff. It just seems like it because last week, a lot of us were getting dozens upon dozens of boxes every day (I was getting around 100). When you're getting that many boxes a day, you're going to be having a lot more chances at getting what's in those boxes. This week we can't easily and quickly amass boxes so it feels like the drop rate has been lowered when really we're just not opening dozens and dozens of boxes like we were.

Don't know exactly how many boxes I have earned so far, around 50 I guess. 3 Lyris pages, 2 were the same.

After a deluge of Prophet's stuff (6 staves?) I'm getting zip for this event. I swear I got insect parts and fleshfly larvae from a WB box.

I think they tuned it back a little too much.

If I can maybe ease some frustrations-

I did around 20 crafting dailies a day last week, and I wound up with every piece of Prophet, plus almost an entire second set. But, there were 2 days where I got no Prophet pages at all, balanced against days where I got 3 pages.

I'll keep doing around 20 dailies a day and I fully expect to have, minimum, all the Lyris pages by the time this week ends.

The real problem is going to be week 4...

I managed to get 2 last night. Remember that the 5th week is a catch up week so you can do loads of writs and get anything you're still missing. By the end of this 5 week gauntlet I am sure people will have trouble giving them away.

Two sets of summerset WBs and one set of Wrothgar, 5 pieces of Lyris shared between me and my gf. Guantlets, girdle, shield, greaves, and pauldrons

The drop rates seem fine, it’ll be worth the same as prophet in another day or two

I did exactly one (1) daily quest yesterday ... an undaunted daily on my level 49 Stamina Warden.

It yielded a total of one (1) Lyris style page ... 100% drop rate.
