Have done 30 events today, delves and WBs in DLC zones. Am 0 for 30 on 4 chars. Event no longer fun and not participating. no longer worth the time to get crap blue items and a little bit of stuff.

Same. Zero pages after far too many quests. Glad I don't care about the outfit, else I'd be slightly perturbed. I intend to skip the rest of this week either way.

I've done 26 quests and got 4 style pages. They seem to be just as common as the Prophet pages were, you just had bad luck today.

But if you want to give up I can sell you some in 6-10 months when the prices are ridiculously high. o:)

I would say to skip a day maybe or cut back. I hate doing writs and was doing too many. I cut back because it was a chore not fun.

I dunno. Guess I look at it different.

It's extra free stuff. Without the event you wouldn't even have a shot at any of it.

I'm fine with whatever I get. Some days are good, some days are not. Even the small stuff has use.

IMHO - the fun should be in the playing of the game.

The prophet style page chance was ok for a week where you could easily farm 100 boxes a day. NOT for a week where you're lucky if you get 20.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

21 dailies delivered so far today, got a single page. Not too shabby. My biggest worry now is figuring what to do with all the Prophet pages

Make that 2 pages on 22 dailies.

Just how many Prophet Handwraps do I need?

    I've gotten 6 in a row.

    I can't sell 'em. I can't bank 'em. I can't guild 'em.

What choice do I have but to destroy them!

Every event is the same, it seems. People complain about the low drop rates if they don't get everything on day 1 and a few days later they destroy the drops because it's not even worth selling them anymore.

The Lyris pages won't be any different.

    I have an idea.

Well, you could always submit 5 more email accounts, buy 5 more games, and mail one each to the first character you make in each game...

ok, I didn't say it was a good idea

I for one think it's hilarious that after the FIRST day of the week 2 event people want to give up. That's entitlement working at it's finest.

I've made some delves and see that boxes are exactly the same mediocre drops which I have in couple of last days. Lucky drops still happened from my 50 daily writs but they were much rare then in first days and a lot of people noticed that. Obviously ZOS noticed what happened to market and reduced chance of good drops. Thus 2nd-4th week of dailies are pointless.. because to do same WB / delves each day for hours is boring AF, and we all know what will happen to dungeons and to cyro and to bg during event days.

Takes about 5 minutes to log in a toon, do sorts and log out. If that, I think my average time is around 4 minutes. It'll take under 1h, or maybe a liiiittle over 1h, and you're guaranteed to make at least 4.2k per character, per day, from quest gold reward alone. That's 1k per minute of basically pure profit, not to mention what comes inside the writ rewards. It's just 1h... All the grind you'll need to do to buy anything you'll need, unless you're a meta chaser.

I had no luck either. Did around 20 dailies, not a single style page. Maybe because I've done the crafting dailies today a short time before they ended (and got 1-2 prophet style pages per char :s )? I hope the drop rate isn't really so low, 0/20 is... not much.

    console? Also, HE?

Dunno if it's worth it for console... May still be because of the box mat rewards specially surveys, but in the case of manual crafting, it's kind of a pain, really.

I disagree with your time estimate - 5 minutes would be about how long it takes me to log on and off a character.

I'd also suggest that it is quicker if you have a supply of pre-made daily writ items in your inventory and simply have to pick up the writs and drop them off. If you have to make the gear, drop it off, open the boxes and bank/sell any items you need to clear your inventory, your looking at 10-15 minutes per character.

I made the most of the first week and did either 6 or 7 daily writs on 20 characters across 3 accounts every day for 6 days and it was taking me 3 hours or so. I basically sacrificed all other aspects of the game as I knew it was my best chance to get some of the latest motifs I was missing (I got at least 12 that I didn't know - Elder Argonian, Dead Water, etc).

Yes - if what you want is the Companion motifs. If it's the "better" motifs (like Worm Cult - which I got half of the whole motif over both accounts - and I don't even LIKE it.... but hey, makes Master Writs easier some) then no, you can't buy them with event tickets.

I got 19 boxes and got 5 different pages and one duplicate for a total of 6. Guess I was lucky for a change.

Edit: 4 more boxes and one more page another duplicate for a total of 7 pages out of 23 boxes.
