All of this is complete bull.
if its going to be removed from nb, you better remove it from warden. It was nb's thing first, without it grim focus is just a trash crystal frag. They are a burst class, they need that. Warden already has minor toughness as a class exclusive and now you want to give them berserk as a class exclusive.
Its just more of the same killing off class identity we have seen from you lately zos and it sucks.
If you think nb is going to much dmg tone down the scaling but they get to keep berserk.
And this isnt a "dont nerf me" thing. anyone who has been on this forum for .5s knows im a magsorc main
im just so tired of you guys taking away things that make a class unique from other classes. If you guys ever quit nerfing sorc long enough for me to actually git gud on it then I might pick up another class, and at that point what am I going to find? A ton of other classes that play exactly the same as the one I was just on with different pretty animations. If you keep this up you might as well just remove the classes all together because across the board there all gunna be the same.

✭✭Well, I'm kind of in the middle here. The removal is good for stamblades since they are heavily overperforming, but magblades will suffer a lot if the change goes through. Hopefully they will balance it up in some other way, but something needs to be done with nightblade damage since it's exclusively nightblades in score pushing groups.EU PC2 -

Now I can lose maybe 2% (literally guessing) from not having the Spectral Bow to use when I decide to slot something else.

Hopefully they'll find a way to not nerf magblade in PVP, but it's w/e if they actually push through with the rumors I've heard.1 -

And personally i dont think ive ever once said nerf magblade in pve or even pvp for that matter. I want the other classes working as well as nb not zos screwing up the one class that can actually dps

Except people will care, and for a community ambassador, whatever this made up rank is, you shouldn't be spewing misinformation for the sake of appearing funny and relatable. Guess what? Taking away a major buff from a class, that is right now the best in slot for many things obviously shows that they're pushing towards the other overpowered class that they're selling. If you believe for any moment that this is a minor nerf and nobody will care, I seriously wonder if you even play this game or just spend hours on end posting misinformation on the forums, but hey.

And even if stamblade is fine without it its still has been part of there class forever. Its something that makes nb a nb. If eith or the nb's are doing to much dmg then reduce the scaling on some of there abilities. But dont just start cutting out unique *** from the classes9 -

Usually it's always best to throw a token buff with a big nerf like this one. That way, people continue playing.3 -

Well, those messages about NB nerf were before series of nerfs which already happened. As for now people whine on cloak, but what this has to do with grim focus? Well, from my experience with slimecraw on other classes (mostly for pvp/vma application), it brings ~2k extra dps. Ok they can remove this buff, but increase grim focus damage considerably to compensate that loss of dps.
If it goes live as direct nerf, I'm just thinking to give all magNB gear to my breton templar healer and do same dps while drinking tea. Count LA hits, keep ton of self-buffs up, dire concentration on execute?? why to do all this if this doesn't bring any profit.
As for the "you will lose nothing while in stack", well it's obvious that we are not always at stack, and NB was cool due to his self-sufficiency.3 -

no its not the right direction in pvp
first off you can gank on alot more than a nb. anything with a bow can gank and they dont even have to get close to you
Secondly then tone down the damage on the skills if there over preforming

Personally I will wait for PTS and parse information before losing my mind over a change. Chances are class reps already know about this and are in discussions with ZOS about it. Nightblade has been above the other classes for a long time with a lot of requests for them to be knocked down a peg, honestly a balance pass on them should have been expected.
It seems this was ZOS' idea on how to best do that. Whether it's a good idea or not I'll wait to see, but until we're hands on with it we don't have all the information.

Baltharuch✭✭Am I the only person not seeing the big deal about this in a PvE comp? Obviously there's more class balancing about to happen but currently this will only affect PvP or NB solo parses imo. Almost every boss and add phase in every trial is a stack and burn and you'll just need to rely on healers having pro combat prayer uptimes.. which they should in organised group comps especially with Jorvulds. It also gives more of an incentive to run a healer in 4 man content now.
You'll still be doing all that damage you have now, just receiving the exact same buff from another source. vAS will be affected most by this or downstairs vCR, but there's slimecraw ^.^Edited by Baltharuch on March 29, 2019 9:44AM3 -

even cloak isnt over preforming, seriously its crap, it lasts 3s thats not even enough time to barswap and barswap back. The players that have an issue with cloak really mean stealth. They hit cloak like once and then go into stealth and stay stealthed while moving around the enemy. Noone is just perma cloaking with the skill alone.0 -

What other rumours?
Steel Tornado losing execute damage (other morphs still has it).
DK wings reduce projectile dmg by 50% and get all the secondary effects, but no cap anymore.
Snipe dmg reduced, and cast time shortened, so less burst. Major defile converted to minor defile.
Jabs being 1s instead of 1.1s, so it should sync up well. Many other abilities with weird cast times will also get this rounding treatment.
Snares being nerfed on grandscale.
These are rumors, so can't trust, but as a pvp magblade if these go through, i can live with losing 8% dmg.Edited by likecats on March 29, 2019 9:45AM6
