Post ticket numbers for reports as well if you can, means any of the forums browsing staff can see them and chase them up.ItchyTheRat wrote: »sadly reporting them doesnt seem to do anything
According to conversations with ZOS in the past they do ban waves on bots daily, but more are just made. I don't know how many people still report bots actively as at least on the forums there is a large amount of apathy towards it and you always find the posts where people say "not my job to report them".Considering how Zos took action before and how bots have made a strong comeback with seemingly little resistance it seems Zos is doing more to permit the behavior than showing earnest interest in battling back.

We effectively get a ball group. Now ask yourself how much skill does it take to be a member of a ball group if a bot could easily do that

Well one person breaking the rules deserves another I guess, if they are to do something about those bots, they need to also take action on your account for naming and shaming.
There was a time, shorty after the game launched on PC, that the bot problem was much worse. One could not go anywhere without seeing bots. Quests, delves, pretty much everywhere.
Zos got serious and took strong action. The problem seemed virtually resolved, but of course we know it is never totally resolved.

Just curious bc i don't really understand and before I ask the querstion i don't even know how to Bot. What is the issue of someone having a BOT? Does it cause other people harm in the game or cause performance issues for ZOS? or is it just the fact people hate someone is making their lives easier by using a program to farm xp and crafting nodes?

I was simply saying that game accounts and forum accounts are adjudicated separately and so is real life.
To define them as equally interchangeable and culpable is a fallacy.
