I played beta hoping that they straighten this game out, they clearly failed.

alright, so why are you still here? If you dont like the game enough to stay through the rough parts, then get out.
and you can get to the northern parts of coldharbor, just tele to a player thats already up there

The whole teleporting part i really disagree on, they should get their stuff straightened out thats what they are getting payed for.

The way they deal with this issue is very bad, the fact alone that they need to take the server down for 4 hours everytime just to apply a patch is very bad.
The bugs that are currently in te game makes it feel that we are playing a payed beta test. And especially in this case, its a quest that make you progress from the south side of Coldharbour onto the nort side of Coldharbour, so in other words people are just stuck standing around a NPC.
Were you in the beta for eso? The game is much more polished now than it was in beta. and I agree with you that there are tonnes of bugs that need to be fixed ( especially in Coldharbor ) hoping it all gets fixed soon. But I don't plan on straight up quitting the game because of bugs that will get fixed eventually

Bugs everywere and ignorance at best.
you must be new to the mmo genre, no mmo is perfect this early. This bug is very annoying and should have been fixed by now but its whats expected. Il take this time to go get some fresh air after playing non-stop for about a week.
Great game, but fix this damn bug
This is NOT what is expected. When I buy a game, I want a MOSTLY bug-free experience. ESO is ridden with bugs. How can you release a crappy game and say its expected?

It is whats expected, when you have a game thats as big as eso, there will be bugs. Just have to fight through it, they will get fixed.
Again its been less than a week since launch, so chill
has anybody tried abandoning the quest and picking it back up again?

Yes. When Abandoned you are put into a different phase where the Groundskeeper has the quest available but is still not intractable. This also makes all the NPC in the city dissapear. The only way to fix that is to have someone with the quest (Army of meridia) share it with you.
