Trash alchemy reagents

So once every 2-3 weeks I normally sit down on my crafter and create as many poisons as I can shake a stick at (usually involves sitting mashing the 'x' botton my controller for about a year). The components used tend to be reagents that drop from mobs (scrib jelly, spider eggs etc.) as I these aren't critical parts of potions I use.

I was wondering which regeants are generally considered trash? Is this something that depends entirely on your play style?

I don't use poisons at all, which is why I tend to go down this route; one Alkahest will net me 16 pots to sell.

I want to maximise the amount of money I get out of this, as I'm not very good at racking up huge amounts on guild traders (maybe new console UI will change this), only know mat farming routes used by everyone on the server and don't have the patience for fishing.

If anyone has a list of trash regeants they could share, I'd appreciate it.

You might want to re-think your wording. Trash reagents implies ones which are largely useless and only worth selling to an NPC merchant.

Ones which make potions worth selling are by definition not trash and quite likely to be the same ones you find useful. If you don't use poison yourself it makes sense you wouldn't find the poison reagents useful because those tend to have negative effects when put into potions, but people who use poison certainly wouldn't consider them trash.

So unless everyone reads your post carefully you run the risk of people listing off genuinely trash reagents - the ones that make potions or poisons only worth selling to NPCs or using on low level alts simply because it's not worth giving them anything better - and those are not going to get you much money on guild traders.

Really the only poison that matters is the double damage health one.

None of alchemy reagents are trash all can be used to earn lots of gold and the best way is farming telvars in IC and then buying apocethry satchels from telvar merchant you can make lots of gold doing that generally an hour of farming will fetch you mats worth 20k min and more once you learn farming routes you can make more ^_^

I make about 2mil a week on potions amd poisons alone.. now of zos could add a lump sum craft option od be eternally greatful.

Scrib jelly is definitely not trash. I am constantly running out of it from making lingering health pots. And they're kinda expensive to buy from guild traders, too.

What you consider "trash components" may well be the next DLC's required crafting ingredient. Save everything!
