Well they fixed it fast enough for the NA servers, no reason why it shouldn't also be fixed on the EU servers. I mean that was the whole reason for having the EU servers in America to begin with, so that it was easier to maintain them and correct issues such as this. At least that's the official story...
Although, seeing as the next part of the quest is massively bugged in NA too then I guess that wouldn't help all that much.

The real slap in the face is when you send it a ticket and they tell you to just skip the quest and progress to the next zone..... I mean come on this bug blocks all progression to VR content.

I'd be willing to bet there are thousands at this point. The more players that get stuck here the more of a bottleneck forms, the more of a bottleneck forms the more likely we are to see additional bugs from high population cramming into the same small area. It is a bad situation right now, give it another day or two and it could be much much worse.
The reason, the ONLY reason, there hasn't been total riot turned PR disaster over this is that only a small section of the playerbase is high enough level to be stuck here. Every day that passes changes this. Imagine if on day one the very first story quest in coldharbor was bugged and no one could leave the starter area. Imagine what would have happened then.
Long story short: fix it and fix it fast.

When thousands of players have been stuck and unable to progress in the game for several days now, a simple "its a known issue and being addressed" isn't enough. You do realize this is already on top of the list of known issues they are working on right?
