Resetting the whole game to zero

Is there a way to reset the whole game for a fresh start.

I mean clearing your craft bag and resetting the Champion Points to zero ?!

Keeping the DLC/Chapters bought and whatever you bought in the store in order to start a brand newby character ?
During the afternoon of Loredas, 6 Sun’s Dawn 2e578 a big piece of Aetherius fell to Nirn. It was the first major piece of Aetherius to fall on Nirn in more than five hundred years. It scattered around the world as millions of shards. It was rapidly documented by Lady Cinnabar of Taneth in her pamphlet Aetherial Fragments that "... when three shards meet, they re-form into a silvery prism by unknown process and confer the power unlocked by the merger to a nearby being." The Order of the Black Worm, commonly known as the Worm Cult, reappeared in Tamriel shortly thereafter and some of its members are avidly searching said shards.
In the last week of First Seed 2e579, an arcane explosion occurred in the Imperial City — a night of storms, and trembling terrain. They named it the "Soulburst". That day Emperor Varen Aquilarios disappeared without a trace. His wife, Clivia Tharn, ascended to the Ruby Throne as Empress Regent under the guidance of the Necromancer Mannimarco. Ushering a time of increased instability within the Empire of Cyrodiil which finally grew into “The Three Banners War”.

You can delete everything from your craft bag if you really want to. It might be time consuming though. For the CP, you can just choose not to assign any, but you can't outright remove them.

You can sell everything in your craftbags and not use your champion points. Otherwise you can play on the opposite server NA or EU, but you won't have your crown store stuff.

I just got the collywobbles even thinking about doing such a thing. :o

But to answer the question, I don't think there is a way. I suppose you could "respec" your CP and just not re-do them and empty out your resource bag.

Or, play on the other server (EU vs NA)

Starting afresh with no CP points assigned would, with the terrible design of the "One Tamriel" concept, would place you at a massive disadvantage, compared to all those that are using the CP points, as they steamroller all the mobs you are trying to deal with carefully without dying. Few people care less about others than a large proportion of those MMORPG players with strong characters, when there are other players with much weaker characters trying to do the same thing.

This is the answer. It is interesting to play the game without all the benefits that come from playing for the last 4 years on an account.

I just started a second account for fun and it is rather exhilarating having a little bit of a challenge on some bosses with no cp.. I did pick up plus for the DLC access.

CP is easy. Don’t spend them.

Crafting bar is almost as easy. Sell everything you have (or destroy).

Not if you buy Morrowind in the first place......

I see it on sale for around $20, here it is for $27 regular price

I’ve done it—started a new account. I’m up at over 500 CP again there (I’m maxed in my main account). More challenging is to restart on a new server. If you start a new account on the same server, it’s tempting to mail yourself gold and gear, but on a new server, you can’t do that. You’re on your own and really starting from scratch.

Why do it? For me it’s challenging and fun.

Why is this hard? Don’t allocate your cp and turn off the function that auto stores crafting supplies in your bag?

If you want to use your bag sell or mule the stuff on other characters?

Not really, I do it with a new character I'm going through (they're under 50 and I haven't allocated any of their CP). It really makes a lot less of a difference than many think it would. Sure it's noticeable difference, but enemies just go from 'mind-numbing boring' to kill to 'easy to kill'.

And to the OP: Like others, I'm really curious why you would want to 'reset the game to zero'?
If you can be anything, be kind.

It's not really that difficult without CP. I usually don't even remember to assign CP until I get into the mid 30s, unless I'm deliberately doing something a character at that level shouldn't be able to do, like soloing group content.

Agreed. It's the main reason I continue to have so much enjoyment from running characters on a second account which still does not have CPs.

you can always create an account on your non-homed server (EU if you typically play NA, and vice versa). Morrowind and any previous subscriber rewards will be there, and your unspent crowns will be accessible, and that's it. It's otherwise a fresh account.

It's not great for competitive content if that's what you want though, as you'll likely see more latency than usual.

Alternately, the closest you will get without losing your expac and dlcs is to remove all bank and housing items and place them in character inventory, then delete all of your characters except one, shiny new level 1.

Does deleting all your toons for sure reset your CP? I have the same interest as the OP.

My reasons are that I'm going to start playing the game with a new partner who has never played before and I want everything associated with either account to have been gained from our shared experience together and not from something I did 2 years ago without her. Sappy I know but nothing beats gaming with a loved one.

The only thing that wouldnt change is the bank space I've already maxed out which believe it or not is also giving me pause so I may just go thr right of a brand new account but I've bought alot of things like any race any alliance and imperial plus I have 13000 crown points unspent. I've opened a ticket to request an account reset but I havent heard anything back from them in almost 2 weeks now
