And of course you need to grind undaunted/mages/psijic/fighters/skill lines/ all morphs to 4 etc etc etc, it's huge ton of time and work.

Only loading screens between wayshrines for all psijic locations and mage guild books will take 2 hours and oops.. fast move between wayshrines is in case you got friend which you don't like so much that ready to ask him to spend several hours of life just to tp you across all tamriel.

OK, if you feel the need to FULLY Level, it may take you a week to 10 days - except for the horse training. If you can't do it that fast or efficiently, you don't even deserve to be at max level and it becomes a L2L or L2G issue.

You want to be on the leaderboard - as long as it is free and easy. How about enjoying the amazing game that has been provided?

Ok, so we came to conclusion that it's almost a week to level up end game worthy toon. I agree on that, this is doable, not very pleasant way to spend time, but if "you want to be on the leaderboard.." (c) - fair.
And I'm actually enjoying the game, I run new dungeons multiple times today and had fun in them, those mice are so cool. And i don't plan to race change any of fully developed chars.. but it doesn't change the fact that those race change tokens are not actually "free". They are incentive, to sell any race/any alliance. And now why people may want to change to race from other alliance? Well, if race from other alliance is considerably better (i.e. orc).
So it's not racial balance, it's incentive for all PVP health recovery nords and khajiits to switch to orc, for all bosmers who don't want to roleplay sentry - to switch to orc. For altmers if they wanna feel comfortable with sustain - to switch to orc to breton.

I’ll compromise with the people complaining they want free araa since a bunch of us paid for it and u want it free to compensate us who paid we get unlimited race changes during ur free araa period on top of the 3 race change tokens

How are you forced to change race it is a choice. There is nothing stating u must change your race if ur guild master is telling you how you should play perhaps you need a new guild

Im curious as to what race you want to change to from what you already got that could amount to this much whining. If you're a roleplayer, doubt racial passives matter that much vs appearance and whatnot. If you're a meta chaser and depending on how much you min/max seriously, the race you had would still be at most 1-2%+- vs the absolute best race for your role. If you're a casual player (no eso+, any dlcs) and not much free time then i highly doubt you require the need to complain on the forums for something you were given for free and probably not use but can't please everyone nowadays.

I bought ARAA and started my sub when i started enjoying the game more, met some great people and some salty people but all in all, if you enjoy the game that much then making a new character with the race you want isn't that hard, you DON'T need max skilllines, those will come eventually, you DON'T need to max out undaunted in 2 hours, whoever told you, you NEED these things is a moron. I have 4 characters with max guild skill lines (fighters guild, mages guild, psijic, undaunted etc) out of 15 characters i own, but i still use most if not all of them for the content i do, which is some casual pvp or battlegrounds and endgame trials (Hardmodes and some mediocre score runs), hell before the racial changes, my main pvper was a nord stamsorc and pver high elf warden tank (only changed my warden tank to a nord after changes, kept my nord SS

). Didnt make or break my game at all, not meta but i was still able to do what everyone else did.

It is Fair.

The Game Package you buy has the restrictions that will apply to your game play.

The Account is governed by the Game package, and thus restricted by the rules of the specific package You chose to buy.

A Crown Token affects the Account - Not the Game package

So depending on which Game package you chose to buy, or upgrade to, that will determine how effective the Race Change token will be for your specific game.

ESO is an MMO, it is the very nature of an MMO for changes to happen. The constant drive to balance ever changing player activity, activity that exposes over powered abilities, or under powered. Sometimes changes suck, sometimes they are great, depending on the player.

If you want a game that stays the same, play a single player game like skyrim.

I wasn't forced to buy any of them, no-one held my arm up my back, It was my CHOICE to gain all the items offered with these items.

Why should I and many others pay hard earned cash for these 'options' and then watch people like you get them for free?

If you want them pay for them like other people, if you don't want to buy them, do without, YOUR CHOICE.

Zos is running a business, they need to make money to pay wages and develop content, they are NOT running a CHARITY.

If you feel strongly enough that "it's not fair" leave the game and play another one where everything is handed to you on a plate!!

No where does the above say any race.(copy paste of description of race change token on eso website)

Let’s use a little common sense people if I do not have araa when I create a new character I first choose an alliance then I am given 3 options in that alliance.

Daggerfall Covenant: Breton, orc, redguard
Ebonheart Pact: nord, argonian, dunmer
Aldmeri Dominion: altmer, khajit, Bosmer

imperial(if u have that) for all 3 alliances

Common sense would tell you, your race choices will be the same as your chosen faction unless u have any race any alliance and/or imperial.

Conclusion: the race change token isn’t misleading you are given the ability to change your race doesn’t mean you can choose any race

I'm not at all happy getting nerfed. But nerfs do happen in any living mmo so there is no use to whine about it and switching to some other race because it will only invite disappointment when next racial change happens. (I'd prefer race being purely cosmetic.) But I'm happy with 3 free haircuts.

Here's what it says, since the copy-paste didn't work.

Now, you can argue about what's common sense or not, but a search the forums reveals that actually this is a matter than confuses quite a few players. ZOS certainly could add a line of text clarifying that you can only change races within your faction - buy the Adventurer Pack or Imperial Upgrade to unlock more races for your alliance.

That would make it obvious - instead of relying on common sense. Very similar to how ZOS could choose to make it clearer that Outfit Slots are per character not per account, but hasn't and players keep getting confused by it.

(I'll be honest, when recruiting for an EP PVP guild, I meant more new players who had no idea which alliance they were than you'd think, so I have a different sort of experience with how obvious/common sense the race/alliance restrictions are in this game.)
