My ping remains unchanged, not that it's a bad thing.

    84-117 ping at all times.

@uFuqinwitme - I've been playing around with Mudfish and have managed to get it set up so I get a PR fluctuating between 250 and 287 which is much better.
I remember the days when that was normal PR without using a VPN!

So what is Mudfish doing exactly? I'm guessing it's re-routing the traffic in such a way that it doesn't go through this Akamai thing I hear so much about...?

Thats good to hear man, what did you do to get that performance? Would love to see if it has a similar effect on mine. I agree I used to get 250-290 but those days are long gone.

I think thats what it does yeah, it seems to suppress a delay when it passes onto the servers in the US, since the normal path appears to mess around in Asia before getting to the servers. I have absolutely no idea what VPNs do to counter-vent this but they do it well. Its just unfortunate that we're forced to pay for a service to return to a time before we were stuck in this vicious cycle of Zos "blaming" Akamai for the lag, Akamai "blaming" Zos and then nothing being done about it.

First thing I did was "equip" ESO by going to "Item" -> "Equip Items" on the left hand side menu and selecting "The Elder Scrolls Online" from the list. Settings I have are:
    Auto Refresh: ON
Server Location: US Central (use Europe if you're on EU server)
Nodes: Auto Selection (I didn't do anything in the Advance mode)
    Active: ON

For info my status screen for the item (you can view it once added etc) says:
    Auto Refresh: Enabled
    Server Location: US Central
Selected Mudfish Node: US West (Los Angeles - Enzu)
    Active: Enabled

Then, after trying various combinations, I'm getting the best performance on pretty much the default settings. The only changes I've made to the default settings are the Connection Protocol and RTT Checking Method. I changed both of those to TCP (the default was UDP). However it may not work for everyone.
Those settings can be found under Setup -> Program (General Tab)

Make sure that the blue auto configuration bar reaches 100% before launching the game.

FYI Upon actually getting into the game (after choosing character) my ping will show 999+ for a couple of seconds, drop to around 300-400 then after a couple more seconds it's been settling at around 250-280. Sometimes there's been a 300 which might last 2-3 secs then go back down...

    Good luck!

I've seen it vary from 91 to 134 today. Normal before was about 119.

I’m on EU and UK based and it’s stayed where it was before at around 80-110.

I did play quite a bit yesterday but had 2 occassions of massive FPS drops and ping spikes that’s needed restarts just whilst in Deshan. FPS dropped to 12 and Ping spiked to 225
