So what is Mudfish doing exactly? I'm guessing it's re-routing the traffic in such a way that it doesn't go through this Akamai thing I hear so much about...?
Thats good to hear man, what did you do to get that performance? Would love to see if it has a similar effect on mine. I agree I used to get 250-290 but those days are long gone.
I think thats what it does yeah, it seems to suppress a delay when it passes onto the servers in the US, since the normal path appears to mess around in Asia before getting to the servers. I have absolutely no idea what VPNs do to counter-vent this but they do it well. Its just unfortunate that we're forced to pay for a service to return to a time before we were stuck in this vicious cycle of Zos "blaming" Akamai for the lag, Akamai "blaming" Zos and then nothing being done about it.
