Frost dungeon bugged?

Anyone else having issues with lasers with vault protector killing you when it shouldn't or us their a mech we missed?

    Yes that one seems to be bugged. This is a bug from PTS which didn't get fixed. Either that or it's laggy like the rotating fire at last boss in Frostvault. It can be cleared, but you have to stand in the fire to not get insta burned.

    2nd bug only appears on EU, have seen Fengrush fight last boss Frostvault without a problem.

    Yeah we would be in right spot and still die. We gave up after hour.

    Had the same here yesterday night, we also found out that you had to walk in the fire sometimes, but it was just an invisible line where you would instadie in and was not always on the same spot where you guessed. We also quit, we got it to 28% when we wiped on our best try with walking through/near fires.

    Yes, managed to get past it, but was harder than it should be....

    also noticed issues on last boss with fire... also managed to get it down, but wasn't pretty.... :)

    In veteran? Lasers kill you right away. I found out that it is possible to dodge through lasers, but it is so random, that I don't think it is intended to dodge through. The only fight that seemed buggy was the Stonekeeper (last boss) when he starts spinning spewing flames, but we did that on veteran, so it is possible to do, but quite difficult. I think the fight should be adjusted, I mean the spinning phase.

    yes, bugged. We 3-manned this dungeon on vet without problems in 4.3.4 but now in 4.3.5 we died several times while being perfectly in the right spot.

    The laser went THROUGH the boss and kill some but not all that were in the correct spot. Very odd.

    On last boss the fire arms are behind the animation by a distance that is roughly equal to half the distance between the fire arms. As a result the trick to beating it is aiming to stay 1 meter in front of the fire arm that is behind you. You can even fall behind and be exactly inside that fire arm animation as it's still safe.

    By "it shouldn't" I think he meant when you clearly weren't in its way. I died a couple of times as well as other people while being definitely protected behind the boss like my corpse was still lying behind, so how did the beam touch me?

    Dodge rolling works on the lasers yeah.

    It is a place for all the Bosmers to be, that sweet penetration gain.. :trollface:

    Got through it after 40 or so wipes, then finished off the final 2 bosses without breaking a sweat. It's bugged all over the place, and there's some very VMA rng with the rolling balls covering the safe spot. Sometimes you get hit by a laser and no damage, sometimes you jump clear and get killed anyway. Bit really once you've learnt the mechanic (just follow the circle round in later laser spawns) it's pretty easy.

    The last boss for Vet can be buggy too as we were getting insta killed by the fire randomly without even touching it.

    we even had the last boss disappear completely but still hitting us but then 20 seconds later he appeared again.

    The dungeon was nearly perfect during the final PTS 5 (there was just one bug with the size of the telegraph on Rizzuk/Avalanche). And then it's a mess on Live. A number of the fixes/adjustments that they made in PTS 5 were inexplicably reverted on the Live version.

    For example, they specifically called out in the PTS 5 patch notes that the defile in HM would start later in the fight (and it did start later--during phase 2 of the fight--when we tested during the final PTS), and the feedback that we gave was that this was a good change that made a clearer progression of difficulty as players got deeper into the fight. But that was reverted and it's now starting immediately when the boss is pulled, like how it was during PTS 1. The number of enemy spiders encountered during the skeevaton phase was reduced in PTS 5. And last night, we were being swarmed with them, like how it was during PTS 1.

    I'm not sure if these reversions were intended (maybe ZOS felt that PTS 5 HM was too easy) or if they jacked up a code merge or something. (Edit: Yep, they were intended because ZOS felt PTS 5 HM had been nerfed too much.) Throw in the reports of bugs that people are encountering on Live but that we didn't encounter on PTS 5, and it's all pretty disappointing that they went from having a nearly perfect, well-polished dungeon during the final week of PTS to something decidedly rougher.

    I died a couple times where I should have been protected, and dodge rolling through is hit-or-miss.

    did a few wipes on final boss where i wasn't even Close to anything that could kill me, then again im not all that hard to kill… :)
    but there where defenatly issues on the dungeon.
    tho i also have to credit them for creativity in creating a dungeon that didn't seem like just Another repeat of the others.

    That happened once in the three times I've run it. Everyone behind the shield, right side, die anyway.
    I've also noticed times where I was able to walk through a laser, lasers vanishing off my screen, and dodge-rolling at full health through a laser seems to be 30/70 on if it kills you or not. It didn't kill me more often than it did, and I'm not sure which it's supposed to be mechanically.

    Normal is pretty much stack and burn. No one is taking story away from you.

    But yes, the lasers are bugged and go through the boss sometimes. It's an issue only on vet though.
