FYI on a potential bug. Tried doing a race change before first load and could not see my character. Quit the change, went ahead and loaded in. Took me about 5 minutes because I am pretty OCD on cleaning out my inventory regularly, although my bank is usually near full. Logged out and did my race change. Logged back in as instant as ever.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭First account - EU server normal load time (which is about a minute or a little over), then NA server much quicker than usual.
Second account - EU server slightly quicker than usual. No characters on NA server.
All running normally, so now patching the game on my other machine which is a bit inferior and only used if the main machine is being used for something else. I haven't seen any comment on whether this process only has to be done once per account or whether it will need doing again on a second machine. Either way, thus far it's looking like the dire warning was outsourced by ZOS to the UK's Project Fear team

✭✭✭I didn't time it, but it seemed to take under a minute on both NA and EU megaservers, for both of my 2 accounts. I was particularly relieved about NA, where I had lots of characters and very full inventories and banks.0 -

✭Well, I'll check that time when I get to it. Hit the go button as soon as maint ended. Although I have a 3MB/s line my usual download speed from steam is 200KB/s soooo if it's 720 MB per hour... I've got 3 more hours to download my patch 0 -

It wouldn't have any effect on those people any more than someone with one item. Plus, craft itemization was done during downtime.
Took me 20 seconds to log in and I'm a massive hoarder, lol. It actually took less time than it normally does!

Not quite that many but 1000's of pretty much every mat plus most houses and so on and I think it took me about 2 minutes to load my character give or take.GM - Malazan

That was funny Dave, but not in the way you think. I gave you an awesome. Our customs is so bad in this country, parcels can take 2 to 3 months to get to us.
