Implement the Overwatch competitive play system. You leave match, you get suspended from comp play for a time. As far as getting kicked, remove the ability to kick players. If team can't function, then deal with it.

Afraid removing the ability to kick would be far, far worse. Freeloading players who don't contribute at all and just afk or explore off on their own are already far too common; without a way to drop them, pugging would be even more horrid.
With the new DLC with a little preview story thing coming, that’s going to be a lot more common. Plus why is it so bad that people want to look around the area by themselves instead of getting rushed through the content?Implement the Overwatch competitive play system. Eventually I’d love to try a dungeon for once, but seeing the threads about the “fake” tanks and dps, along with the people who rush or kick people who aren’t going up to their expectations just kinda sets me back from doing it. Like I want to admire the surroundings, not get rushed and then kicked when the others left and I can finally wander.Reistr_the_Unbroken wrote: »With the new DLC with a little preview story thing coming, that’s going to be a lot more common. Exactly. I love wandering around dungeons. If other pugs have the patience of a gnat how is that my problem? Sometimes in life you need to learn how to put up with other people. It's what real grown-ups do.

Overwatch will kick you from match and suspend you from comp for being idle. This includes not using your skills against enemies. I've personally NEVER experienced a free-loader in a dungeon before. Seems kinda boring to just go into a dungeon and do nothing.

Little bit off topic, but I cannot stand volenfell.
What a *** dungeon.
Once I did it once on vet per char there was no reason to go back.
Something about it just rubs me the wrong way and I don’t know why.

And by that point the game will surely kick you out due to the timer cause everyone else left.Reistr_the_Unbroken wrote: »With the new DLC with a little preview story thing coming, that’s going to be a lot more common. The common etiquette for dungeon exploration and looting is to wait for the dungeon run to be finished, then go back to explore and loot.
Also it might of just been a legit accident. This one type I accidentally kicked my friend from a trial run who was pulling majority of dps. To this day they don't let it go 😝. Did you try pming them?
It's an actual possibility, considering they were really low CP. Some guy accidentally poked the kick button and the rest agreed thinking it was some "ready" feature.
Actually happen to me a while back while I was tanking. Some newbie clicked the wrong thing and rest picked yes, in the middle of a boss fight lol. I got teleported out and ofc sent them a message. They where really upset and asked "Why did you leave us at the boss? We're all dead"
Granted sometimes people do kick to let a guildie leech, but normally not the case when it total newbies.
Why do I have a feeling that whenever people say No offence they actually go straight into offending you with condescending comments
Of course everyone wants to have a great group of people to play with, of course you need a guild to do quality content but that is not the topic of this post. I often work odd hours so sometimes I play early in the morning and getting a steady veteran pledge group , especially the dlc-ones is not easy .So the group finder is a great idea, while I do some fishing. Only not so nice with people like that, using you to clear 90% of the content and kicking you before the last boss to get someone else in with whom they did not want to suffer through the whole run. I did not die during the run, know when to dodge, block or just get out of the aoe, but the tank died a few times , one guy had 12k health, died all the time, probably did not use food and still I did not say anything. You play a hand you are dealt and I played.
So, just to be clear - did not offend anyone in the group, did not speak to anyone, no one spoke to me or to each other , I had good damage and they kicked me, before the last boss. We did not start the fight at the last boss, we just got there.
Did not even bother with a - hey sorry mate a guild member just logged on who really needs this vet dungeon, we have to kick you ... The reason for this post was not really to complaint about what happened, not to ask advice how to find a decent group or how to join a guild or how to advertise my self in map chat- my question was, is still - Why is it forbidden to name the people who are doing this, when I have all the evidence ? Why do we all have to put up with this ?
I know this is just a game. But when it is teaching us to overlook the bad stuff and just ignore or even worst, accept all what
sleazeballs do maybe it is giving us a wrong message. I do not like it.

I have only kicked 3 people in 5 years. 2 were in Fg II who were stealing taunt and not doing any damage. They told me to "stfu" when I asked them to please stop taking the taunt as I was the tank. The 3rd was someone continuously spreading poison in a trial on purpose. @Umbro100 if you're PCNA I will get you through vVolenfell np.

This is the first time that happened to me, but I read posts on the forum when others complained and wondered why is it not allowed to name the people doing it. After seeing all these answers I realize it would be hard to tell is some cases what really happened.
Still it was interesting to read what people think...the ones that experienced it would like to do something about it, others say it must have been a mistake, maybe it is not even true, some almost suggest it is my own fault because I used the group finder
I have the screenshot about our conversation after, when I asked why did they kicked me.Got no answer until I wrote I will report them because I have the screens, & the combat metrix , then I got the message - Good luck with thatso I guess it was not the first and not the last time and they know nothing will happen.
They stole my time, I used a lot of my potions, soul gems to rez , never said a word about them dying or not using food, put up with the long fights and in the end my reward was a kick and a mocking. What they did is not ok and it would be nice if I could do something about it.Not because I am an entitled crybaby, but because they ruined my morning. For a short while.
Did some fishing, done the run later with another group , it was fast and people said ty and bb at the end. Felt good. Most of the people I end up with are decent folk.
Thank you for the offer, I have done all the veteran pledges many times, just doing the dailies now for the transmutation stones.

I'm gonna take this opportunity to ask a question to you dungeon goers, what is the lowest dps you would be fine with your dds having in pug vet dungeons, when would you feel its ok to complain about it?
(plot twist, I am the DD)
