UI Locking up - Fairly Rare, but extremely annoying bug.

I've had this twice to day, i've been playing, i admit.. about 12 hours.. or so. I went from 14 to 18..

First time: Not doing much, mining high iron etc, my ui locks up, I can talk etc, swing my sword, but I can't autorun, can't access any of the menu options, so I can't log out or quit.. had to alt tab and end task.

Second time: Mid Battle, I can't swing my sword, nothing happens, can't cast spells, but I can access menu options.. however, on doing so, attempting to log out, crashed the game. It went to the load screen.. but never got to the character select screen. The second time, felt like I had lagged out, but I was in conversation with someone at the time. And the conversation wasn't lagging. The guard said hello when i ran past him, away from the spider whose soul I was trying to coerce into my mana gem. Neither the guard or the spider were lagging.

It's also not flat batteries in my keyboard, I know when that happens, the light goes red and intermittently flashes.

had the battle freez as well. during battle suddenly unable to swing my sword or cast spells. had to move out of agro range to fix the problem. As soon as I lost agro and the creature ran back to it's spawn I got control over my character back.

This happened twice now in total. So it's very rare. And I dont know how it happened. I would not be able to reproduce the problem.

Just to be clear. This was not a creature ability preventing me from attacking. It was a game bug for sure.

Yeh i think thats pretty much what happened to me the second time, only i tried to log out during the bug being in action and it crashed the game. I've been having this issue on and off a few times, even been unable to talk in chat on one occasion.

Thanks for /reloadui I'll give that a shot next time. Oh and it better not be like /stuck I could throttle the idiot that designed that bit of code.. I ended up 20 mins away from where i got stuck. It could just teleport you to beginning of instance or wayshrine, which ever is closest. Instead of killing you.

When this has happened to me, double-tapping the period key would reenable combat commands. Conversely, my compass' tracking icons keep occasionally locking up; this particular bug is not rare. Keeps friggin' happening, and only hitting the /reloadui lottery seems to fix it for awhile. For awhile. Plz fix, put that hundred dollars you coaxed out of my wallet to use.

I've had this happen in different situations as well. Mostly during combat. 8 times out of 10 hitting the esc key and pressing it again clears it. I'm not sure whats happening. Its not like lag I can move and things moving around me but I can't use any skills.

oh yeh, i forget about the direction arrows on top bar, I get that all the time. I was relogging to clear that. It's a real pain when you realise you've been running in circles for an hour because the compass has stuck!
