I just noticed that thread. I tested that setup in early PTS days but I got better results without maelstrom dual wield. My max DPS selfbuffed is stable 49k selfbuffed on stam dk in setup without maelstroms and with claw as "spammable". And no I am not loosing claw DoT DPs because of that since stam DD rotation is 11,5-12 seoncds long due to endles hails taking some time to start falling and since I use lot of different abilities I literally use claw just 1 additional time as spammable while still DoT from last claw in previous rotation have time to run out. In general I have great sustain decent survivability because I have skill slot for deadly cloak and very good dmg in setup without maesltroms. I'll link parse when PTS go up. When it comes to using unique weapon on front bar stamsorc with master dual wield is hidden gem of this update

The differences of my parses with vma bow or Deadly Strike bow are well within the margin of error. IMO farming vma bow is not worth it, when you are running Deadly Strike, even if vma bow wins out by a slight margin. VMA bow will stay BiS for BW-builds, though and if you already got one you might keep the vma bow anyway.

However, did anyone test / find out, if Deadly Strike is additive or multiplicative with Thaumaturge?

If it's multiplicative, it might be worth it to invest even more in Thaumaturge.

If it's additive, it might be worth it to invest less in Thaumaturge.

In case you are running VO (dungeons, vdsa etc.) it might be worth it to war VO front-bar only, Deadly Strike continously and vma bow back.

I can only recommend to get your Deadly Strike weapons on live server NOW. Because the loot boxes drop only jewelry (healthy trait! - you'll have to transmute them) and weapons, it is much easier to get the weapons as it is on the PTS right now.

Too much of a loss from monster helm plus losing 7 medium. Also I tried one parse without vMA and on the very first try it was 46k...and I messed up...

@hedna123b14_ESO It is 7 medium though. Deadly Strikes is medium now.

I'm hitting around the same numbers with the vMA setup as with Deadly/Relequen/Velidreth, maybe very slightly higher on average. Usually around 48k with Deadly/Relequen/Velidreth (and about the same with Advancing/Relequen/Velidreth), and maybe 500 DPS or so on average higher with the vMA setup.

I'm no stamDK expert though, just tooling around with it.

But I suspect the AY setup still ends up being BiS since it'll scale better in raid, and using Claw/Rending Slashes as a spammable is much more sustainable. The vMA rotation isn't terrible to sustain on a Redguard or Bosmer but it's kind of a pain on an Orc or Khajiit.

Have you tried master dual wield and using rending as spammable?

I tried this on a Bow/Bow DK, it was okay but nothing special. I was about 500 dps below my avg parses. I think the DW bleed helps take this set over the top.

@Ohhgrizyyy here is a parse from stamsorc using deadly strike. Buff provided were vulnerability, fracture , berserk and minor savagery. This setup is kinda competitive with the meta plus have extremly easy rotation.
