Curious what play style seems more common, since we don’t have all the class stats yet.
*”other is meant so if you have a more specific play style in mind, ex: instead of just damage maybe it’s a psijic necromancer dual wielded, or something else
Whether or not I play one at all really depends on how "corpsey" and disgusting the skills look- if they're too gross (like those icky looking rotting horses that come out of the halloween crates) then I'll be skipping the class completely. If I do end up playing one, then DPS.
PC l NA Legends never die
They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
Legends never die

Planning damage, but we'll see how it works. If it's Nightblade 2.0 with the weave requirements the I'll not enjoy it.

ESO Necro is just 1 big disappointment to me just like the diablo 3 necro no perm pets
a necro to me is more like eq1/eq2 necro, dot disease /posion root/fear and perm pets -healer/tank/dps summons -1 at a time
So i will pass on this class stay a templar and enjoy the chapter
Not going to play necromancer - it just does not apeal to me and characters openly practicing necromancy in TES were not the most friendly ones. It just does not feel right to be one.
likely will go with healer.
i have tanked on every class so i do want to try that out.
i REFUSE to ever play as a dps so thats a no-go.
i like having responsibility of leading the charge with my tank or keeping everyone healthy and buffed with my healer instead of mashing buttons to kill critters quickly. dps is such a mindless role.

I'll have at least a couple of necromancers, maybe more, but they won't follow a preset role as that's unnecessary for my playstyle. They'll be of assorted builds, again not preset.
I'm on the fence about deleting a character to get down to 14 so i can do both a stam and magicka necromancer.
I find it silly to declare a character as performing a particular role since I often level all my characters as tanks doing daily random dungeons using the same gear set, even if they will eventually perform other roles. I do this because I like trying to tank with different classes. I enjoyed 2 wardens and will probably keep one as an alternate tank at max level. I am now trying my first templar tank.
I might have one slot a necro tank that just runs random daily dungeons while the second necro (if I delete a slot) might just go DPS and level by killing things and doing stuff that gives skill points without queuing.
