I probably won't play a necromancer for quite a while until the FOTM has worn off. Then it will probably be the most un-optimal combination of class/race/weapon skill like most of my characters.

Well, I will probably spend two hours in the character creation screen, but that's the gist of how to play necro.

I think this is how I have played 60% of my characters (other than some dungeon running during Undaunted event and daily crafting writs). Though I create all my new characters on PTS servers first, taking substantial advantage of the 1crown cost of appearance change tokens to tweak until they're just right.

I don't really have a solid idea for necro right now. It's not a class I'm excited about, nor one I wanted. I've not yet preordered and only just finished Summerset for the first time a few days ago so I'm typically quite slow to get around to new content. I do generally prefer healing and tanking roles as opposed to straight damage. So probably one (or maybe both) of those when I DO get around to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gonna make a Nord Necromancer, copy of main as is the case with the 4 other Nords i have in different classes, then level him up as a Magnecro, also gonna use 1 medium/1 heavy to level up those skills in case i wanna go tank/stam dd or a maghealer after a while.
