    Have to say, no.

I love that the necromancer is class and not just a skill line.

I mean, what id really want is to say goodbye to classes as a whole and an introduction to some other system that limits your choice still, like maybe you can only use 3 "class" skill lines at a time still but you pick whichever ones you want.

Classes feel so wrong for this game since its started to go more and more into the legit "anyone can be anything" angle. Personally I struggle to play some classes because as a warden main im now so attached to having dedicated self healing abilities from green balance.

After a bard class they can take a break from adding classes. I'd like to see them expand gameplay variety in other ways, new weapons such as spears, crossbows and mounted combat would all be nice additions.

any more skill lines i have to spend 5-10 hours grinding on each toon just to enjoy is a waste to me. I'd rather have new classes.

Any other game I would say bring on the classes..

ESO, I say no more classes until they fix the clunkiness and various other issues of the magden. I'm still pretty ticked they've ignored most of our cries and now ready to drop a whole new class which means we've been put on the back burner. Hell we've been there for a year and half. I hope you necros get better treatment than Magdens have. Until I see some movement toward helping my magden ZOS wont see a dime more from me.

That way instead of grinding one skill line, you grind 15 on a brand new toon. Makes sense.

Sure OP, cause a templar using the undead and spreading disease makes so much sense.

How do Templars spread disease? Also repentance makes sense, you free the souls of the dead from their worldly sins (such as being a zergling) so that they may ascend to heaven and in exchange you are granted strength. Think of it as restoration magic in a sense. You perform service for the dead and in exchange receive a small part of their energy.

I wish they would get rid of classes all together. Traditionally, TES games have always had better flavour as a classless game. Even this game essentially has all the pieces in place to do. Just add all class skill lines to the common skills. I would even go one step further, and reorganize them by traditional TES categories, keeping and using their skill line and morph design. I'd just have seperate skill lines for all the older magic schools, skill lines for all the individual weapons, and then skill lines organized by a theme taken from the classes.

As dozens before me stated I also want to say that Class Change Token would make so many people happy.

The players with one main character who would pay for the chance to try something new without the sacrifice of hours not spent with the beloved main.

ZOS as they would get income from Class Change Tokens.

The many tons players who would like to have a new class with each (or with every other) year. As they would have a smaller opposition.

Do the good thing and make it a reality

So what you are saying is because you dont like new classes no one else should? Sorry but i really detest this kind of attitude - a new class doesnt take anything from you and you can just ignore it - I and many others do enjoy new classes!!!!

And a bard college skill line would be awesome focused around utility, support and synergies

Skill line please! We alreayd have one class that's gimped in PvE. Necro skill line would be fine. If there's a necromancer class and it ends up being more PvE viable than Warden... well... I think you have my stapler.

Which class is "gimped" in PvE?

    Magwarden

    That's not a class ...

i cant tell if you're making a joke or not.

if you're making a joke, then yeah lol.

if you're not, then i mean it as a subclass. Stamden is alright. healers and tanks are pretty decent. Magden does the least damage and has the least group support/utility of any class in pve.

Honestly we need both a new class and a new set of skill lines and honestly some Highly usable/valuable Unique to each race weapons/skill lines bring back flavor enhance the differences in the races. cookie cutter builds seem to be the norm and that is kind of bland.

as much as I hate leveling a new class it would be wildly better than a new skill line. I already have a ton of spells I dont use why add more when I can just make it a new char.

We need at least 10 classes. Look at how many TES had originally in older games

This topic was created before the announcement. Now we know: Necromancer is a Class.

ZOS, I hope it's the last Class! There is no need for another.

Bard? Guild Skill Line (Bards College)
    Battlemage? Weapon Skill Line.
    Monk? Weapon Skill Line (Unarmed)
    Etc.

Bite your tongue. I'm still holding out for a Monk Class.

Classes need to go away entirely...or rather, what I mean, is that classes should be determined by your chosen basic 3 skill lines. For example: You would end up with a summoner class if you chose say Elementalist(terrible skill line name) from necromancer, Daedric summoning from Sorceror, and Animal Companion skill line from Warden. Once your main skill line choices determined you were a summoner, you would gain access to a new "summoner" skill line as well. In this way, you could have many varied classes and unique builds that would let you build whatever you wanted. Of course this wouldnt change the fact that there would still be BIS builds and cookie cutter builds...but nothing will change that, this would make the game much more fun for the vast majority of the players who are casual players, let the min/maxers do their min/max thing while everyone else plays what they want and experiments with niche off-the-wall builds.

That would allow for so much more build creativity.

Id go, winter's embrace, assassination and animal companions.

Id love to gain acess to grim focus, assassin's blade, lotus fan, soul harvest, and mark target.

Don't really want to keep animal companions but i love betty netch and deep fissure.

I reckon though, after Necromancer, we've gotten all the lore friendly (I say this loosely, as lore friendly as possible given the MMORPG context of ESO) bases for character building/roleplaying covered. Necromancer for the more evil/morally ambiguous adventurers with an ambition to control life (or take it), Nightblade for the stealthy assassins and ruthless blood/shadow mages, Sorcerer for the lightning wreaking elemental/Daedric conjuration spellsword, Dragonknight for the flame/venom spewing inferno mages and stalwart warriors, Warden for the nature attuned wayfarers and ice mages, and lastly Templar for the righteous light wielding warriors and clerics.

I'd greatly welcome some brand new Weapon Skill Lines after this to give magicka specialisations more variety, like 1H/Rune, or even a Hand-to-Hand line.

I would agree if the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood skill lines weren't the most underwhelming crap we've seen in the game yet. Fighter's Guild was total garbage too, basically just occult slaying skills that should've been used for a Silver Dawn/Dawnguard expansion of some sort. No...I love this game, but the devs have done a terrible job with guild/faction skill lines thus far, the only exception being The Mage's Guild.

I would love to see them devote an entire update to simply fixing Guild/Faction skill lines and making them worth taking, or at least giving Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood actual skills, or perhaps doing a Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood chapter 2 of their story, and including continued story for them with added abilities within their skill lines that are actually good and related.
