✭✭✭✭✭It's an instant heal without a HOT component, they also mention it in the developer's comments for curse eater, with this change it won't be able to be proc from mutagen, ritual, etc.

No matter if it is Single Target or AoE.
Direct Damage/Healing ≠ Single Target.
DOT/HOT ≠ AoE.
Look at Spear Shards. Bold is Direct Damage (AoE), and Italic Underline is DoT (AoE).
"Send your spear into the heavens to bring down a shower of divine wrath, dealing 454 Magic Damage to enemies in the target area and an addtional 133 Magic Damage every 1 second for 8 seconds."2 -

Based on logic yes, because it's a direct heal you get when you fire your LA/HA.

I don't think so since it is not really a healing ability but buff with trigger effect (like Surge). But it must be tested.Everything is viable0 -

Some confirmed as they are specifically single target direct heals, such as Breath of Life/Honor the Dead and Obsidian Shard. some are conjecture but once PTS is up i'll be testing to confirm specifics which apply with it and will make a full list.
I did forget to add Polar Winds/Arctic Blast to the Warden list which has an immediate direct heal.

It is a Hot... it procs Transmutation set
You can’t assume anything in this game. Most of the healing abilities are not consistent, for example refreshing path won’t proc transmutation and ALL DK heals aren’t coded as heals and don’t get a cost reduction from the Asylum resto.Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
