This patch may have balanced DPS. But this well broke support role balance potentially. Support roles are hard to verify.

An extra .5 ulti gen is nothing. L

Before this patch there wasn't a race that made a tank better at tanking. There were races that made it easier to be a tank but nothing more. The change is larger than people give it credit for.

I don't think it's that OP. If you are managing your ultima regen nicely this racial is a 10% boost.

But I think the Ultima regen together with 4k resistance and 2.5k resources is a tad too much.

Honestly a ult gen build already is able to spam ultimates left and right
Odds are, the ult passive will be a nice flavor passive, but won’t be a mandatory thing (unless you are in a guild that must have the #1 scores lol)

Don’t think it’s OP but although Nord has been buffed at long last it’s very much tank focussed and race for support classes less critical than DDs.

This fits with its lore I suppose but Altmer, Breton are very good DD and Healers, Argonians can play both support classes very strongly and can work as DD albeit a bit behind the others.
Khajit and Dunmer can play both Stam and Magika effectively now but Nord and Imperial don’t seem to have been given similar flexibility which is a shame.

It is a bit, its almost like a minor minor heroism

Like a lot of things, if you don't build to exploit it you probably won't notice the passive in day to day play.

But stack it on a stam warden with decisive, minor herorism, major heroism, and werewolf hide, and now you are just spewing ultimate. (the additional armor stacked with permanent minor protection is nice too!)

Question is, is building to exploit the passive giving up too much in other areas to even make it worthwhile? Kind of like going crazy with health regen builds.

I already have the gear ready on live (Dragon+WW hide + blood spawn, decisive front bar)... The ulti regen is very much tied to rng and the fight itself. If there are no projectiles (so no major heroism), whether I can use trees back to back depends on the luck with the blood spawn 6% proc chance. All this passive will do is make this a little more consistent.

The bigger buff to this setup are the resistances, because I couldn't do vFH hm with this setup as the lack of resistances caused the heavy attack from the boss to get me dangerously low if blood spawn didn't proc in time (27-37k depending on whether I screwed up with the major resist buff, and that with 38k HP with the 10% health buff).

I feel like I am the only one banging on the drum here that Nord Ulti passive isn't that good and should be made when in combat and then you show up, tested the ult gen like I and realize it's not that great and if they removed it for damage or actually made it good (reduce cooldown or change it to when in combat) it will make the Nord actually decent.

The best thing about the Nord is the resists but everyone reads "OMG Ultimate" because it looks good in theory and on paper but in reality its worse than a set and minor heroism.
