Ultimate points resetting to zero

Periodically while playing I find my ultimate points have reset to zero without an ultimate having been used. Not noticed a pattern to it. I just look at the bar and its gone.

I don't know if this is the case for you ( it may even be a bug idk ) if you switch between weapon bars, your ultimate will only be " Full " on the bar you were using before you switched.
i.e if you used the first bar. it will only be full on the first bar, if you switch to the second it will be empty ( i don't think that's what you're talking about just mentioning it )
also if you switch out ultimates the points will reset ( idk if this is ab ug, though I assume it's not ) they are each gauged differently so what would have filled one wont always fill another, you can negate the reset effect in most casing by just popping it " press R ' lol

Having an Ultimate there and never having it available to use seemed redundant to me.
Now that I'm werewolf and the Ultimate costs 1000, I barely ever get into the form. But you need to get into the form to level it up...
Such an issue.

Not sure if this is related, but my ultimate does not seem to be working at all as of today. I was using it all weekend ( Veil of Blades ), but now it just sits on my bar inactive and never fills to a useable level

Heishi✭✭✭✭✭I don't know if the will help any, but my wife and I have both experienced the ultimate being used with a left click attack. It doesn't seem terribly common, but is notable. In our case we had the shadow ultimate. Before she had a chance to use it, out of no where she asked what the red glyph was when she attacked. Not long after I had the same thing. The first time I noticed it, and when it happened to her was in coldharbour rescuing the half giant, Lyrius or w/e. Since I've been trying to pay a little more attention to it.And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.0 -

Yea, mine isn't going off randomly ... mine just stops accumulating ultimate and no longer works. Seems like there are a few problems with it.0

Sadae✭✭✭Happens to me also. I found this thread when searching about the problem. I'm a werewolf as well, and it really sucks suddenly noticing your hard-earned Ultimate points reset to 0 halfway up to the 1000 needed. I've noticed this happening since beta.0

It happens to me constantly really just starting today. There's nothing to it as far as rhyme or reason, it's just completely random but very frustrating not to have ultimate when you need it. Hopefully this will be looked into soon.0

miedeinb14_ESOSoul ShrivenAgreed. I've only been having this problem since becoming a werewolf. Its becoming rather annoying as I need to change so I can level it up and it keeps resetting for no rhyme or reason. I thought I saw a pattern with it whenever putting skill points into other trees or equipping new gear but its not the case as I'm starting to see.
Like others. I REALLY hope this can be addressed and fixed asap. I'm fine with the cost to turn is 1k ultimate. But when I get to 800 and it resets back to zero for no reason.. this is getting crazy.0 -
Unshra✭In the same boat, I recently finished the wild hunt and have been working on ranking up my werewolf. However since the last patch I find that my ultimate randomly resets, it could have happened before but was clearly noticeable when I got around 900 and hit zero while in the middle of a fight.
I guess the plus size is like the werewolf perk this bug forces you to be with a pack leader to be effective.

Sadae✭✭✭OMG! This is driving me insane! I can't quest and level up my werewolf at the same time because it ALWAYS get reset before reaching 1000! I have to go out of my way to do nothing but hunt in order to work on my werewolf, and then I wind up leveling past the appropriate level range of my quests. Please fix this!0

grvsoldierSoul ShrivenThese are some of the times it will reset to zero for me with one of the following actions:
Go into or out of a place that requires a load screen
When I log off or client crash/unknown error
When there is a npc conversation
This makes it a pain for me to level up the skill line and I have /bug it.

Terminus✭✭✭✭✭Usually you lose your Ultimate ability when you're out of combat for too long.
Remember, that's how you charge it up; gaining Ultimate from combat.
Some ways to reduce the chance of you losing it include;
1. Using heals or abilities that offer passive effects
2. Killing a rat, snake, deer, or other passive mobs
I'm not sure what the effects of logging out have on your ultimate ability,
but that could be one source of it being lost.0 -
Kaspar✭✭✭I've found that in Beta Ultimate Points rest to ZERO after being killed once oe twice,,, or something but... putting a timer on their usage in PVP might help to alleviate the kill-farming at keeps.0 -
Sadae✭✭✭@Terminus - I've been in town for long periods of time before out of combat without it getting reset. And I've often lost my points WHILE I was actively questing and killing. I can log out for the night and still have my current point count when I log back in the next morning. Same too when I switch to alts to mule stuff.
@Kaspar - I don't recall if that happens or not, but I usually notice it had reset to 0 at times I haven't died recently.0 -
Sadae✭✭✭AND, it just reset to 0 while I was typing the above post. Luckily it wasn't very high at the moment. My werewolf had just hit level 4, and I was testing the new Blood Rage passive on some Crocodiles. I had less then 100 points, but regardless, they're 0 now.0

Sadae✭✭✭I was at almost 700 points, clicked on 4 alters for a quest, went to the rest room for two minutes (real life), and when I came back I noticed my points were at 0. *sigh*0
