It is the players fault to choose a race based on bonuses and then throw a temper tantrum when something so volatile is going to change in the future.

If you picked race A because it's 1% better than race B and not because you were interested in the visuals or the history of respective race, it's solely your fault and not ZOS'.

Alcast will put out his new builds/gear setup for the new meta.
    Then you'll all calm down.

There is not "relax" this is a straught up nerf and cash grab wtf are you talking about?

ZOS could literally stab people like you and you'd say "chill! its just a bit of blood, lets see how it pans out"

they nerf stuff every patch. It's one of the ways they keep thing from being stale. We haven't even gotten to the classes and the new gear sets yet. They have done before they even offered race change tokens.

1 change over character linked to that character is what we need

People are more upset about the cost of race change being pushed on the player base for their(ZOS's) balancing mistakes than the actual race changes themselves imo. 1 token per account is poorly thought out.

LMAO. they give you free race change token for the first time every and you want to whine about only 1?

ZoS should give us free race change for one week (unlimited characters can use that but only during this specific period) like they give us free cp change after morrowind for a short period of time and you will see a half of the complaints gone

I remain unhappy with the current and proposed racials. The mammoth in the room is that race selection encourages you to play either a magic or stamina character. Nothing is changing in that regard. *sigh*

I saw the proposed changes. None seem that bad to me. I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

I don't get it either. Then again, I'm not a power gaming, competitive min-maxer who would give a hoot about stuff like this. They preserved the lore flavor of the racials, and that's the only thing I was concerned about with the revisions.

Sure, roleplayers and casuals who dont care may find them good.

Dunmer was downscaled to a point that it has no viable reason to be used anymore. It lost all its racial flavor. Stamina you have better choices, Magicka you have better choices.

Dunmer is a double nerf. Nerf of the racials + inherently a magDK nerf on top. As if that class isnt bad enough after all the useless nerfing.
Now you either go Altmer for magicka or go home. Dunmer is no option anymore.
Some of these changes are outright stupidly made by people who have never even played or not even looked at gameplay of the game they try to "balance". As it appears.

Those changes dont give you more choice for what race you want to play a certain build/class with. It further limits it and -snip-over established builds. And all you can do to fix yourself is spen more and more money to get that junk somewhat fixed for you.

I already had to abandon my Dunmer magDK. Now its utter useless. unless I change it to Altmer. Altmer DK. seriously?
I played dunmer since day one because it went so well with what I wanted. And and top it´s my favorite elder scrolls race to begin with. But is an outragous nerf to the racials.

All I can do with that character now is doing daily writs and collect mail. That is how bad it is. Or just roll a NightBlade. Its so overbuffed and best in anything anyways.

Got this games classes and build variation went down a dark path. Pun intended.

Allways this filthy casuals that dont care. Every normal player cares about what maybe 2-3% in worst case? And if your class gets a nerf you shout for a class change button? Next patch they see dunmer is really 1% behind and buff it again so you want to change again?
Those changes are normal in every mmorpg and only issue is here that some tryhards think that 1-2% nerfs at max destroy their game. Just tryhard more and you will maybe make the same damage as before because i am pretty sure that not everyone who crys is the single best in the game so you have a bit a space to get your 7dps lose back.

I don't think it is good what they are doing because the change token exists, if i could decide i would drop the token out if the shop so the people dont even have the choice to change, some races have good years some bad exactly like classes in every mmorpg. Thats how it was and ever will be and we have to live with it

The issue is that ZOS does not have a good track record when it comes to balance and especially listening to their community. The whole argument of "guys calm down wait till it comes onto the PTS and then they'll change it according to feedback" has been done to death, and ultimately, multiple PTS cycles come and go, and none of the community-requested changes get implemented.

Fact of the matter is that we are tired of being ignored.

Statements like that are coming mostly from casuals.

Let's test things on the PTS, see how those changes actually play out.
The problem is that all changes on PTS are tested by min-maxers DPS players. That is the major problem here. Almost no one is testing tanking & healing. :(

Be the change you want to see in the world. There is nothing stopping you from going in the PTS and trying things out. In fact it's a cheap and easy way to try out gear, weapons and jewelry.

you can only speak for yourself my friend you have no idea what the community in general gave feedback for. I'm sure in your mind its valid but just because you think it is valid and you are in the majority doesn't make it so.
