Gosh I love how creative and thoughtful you all are. Every time I read response that questions my skill or experience instead of actually addressing the topic at hand it warms my heart.

Considering how you worded the OP you can't blame people for defaulting to the jokes. You're angry with how the Bow affects your gameplay and thus you exclaim to scrapping the entire weapon mechanic and starting over from scratch. Maybe see it as the Bow is supposed to be this way, it's a great long range single target weapon, that's it's purpose. Archers pick off enemies from a distance one by one. When multiple Bow users start zerging is nothing more than a consequence of the state of PvP, since success almost always comes from strength in numbers.

I've had some ideas on how the Bow could be done differently, mainly because I don't like how all the attacks turn into locked on heat seeking missiles after cast. I'd first get rid of that large arc Snipe makes, it's ridiculous and only exaggerates the fact how arrows are like guided missiles. Instead it should just fly straight to the target like Scatter Shot does, even reduce it's range so Archers have to get more into the fight.

And I don't know how much I'd like the targeting mechanics to be different so not every arrow can change course mid flight to always hit a moving target. Perhaps the game can give us the illusion of firing accurately by automatically making our character's aim lead whoever we're casting at if they're moving, so when the cast is fired the attack more or less flies in a straight line.

Why is it that PVP crybabies want to delete anything that gets their character killed more than once?

The scream about the glory of competition.....yet when anything isn't in their favor, they want it deleted.

And they wonder why the community is despised so much.
