Yes the free things Zos gives me for playing a game that I would he playing anyways are worth it.

People who complain need to give their head a shake.

    It’s free

it's not free at all,it sucks valuable time which is worth far more than rl currency let alone any eso junk bond gold

Well if you are going to log in and play anyway I do not see how it is going to take any extra time, unless you REALLY take your time in hitting a button...

So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

No, in the sense that the daily rewards aren't going to push me to log in any more than I would otherwise. If I happen to log in every day, fine; if not, that's fine too. The daily rewards aren't anything I'll actually feel like I'm missing out on.

Have never used Tel Var, have millions of gold and AP, have way too many non-combat pets and my 15th character is now maxed out - so there is nothing I need from daily rewards.

I guess I am far from the 'average' ESO player though.

No. Most would be trashed as I already have so many char bound pots that only take up space.
Murkmire reward motivated me to login and eventually made me stay after 4 or 5 months of break.

No sense complaining about something given free. Accept it and move on. If you don't like it, don't accept it or delete it.

I expect that if they ever turn off the daily rewards, the ones complaining about how bad they are now will be the loudest to complain that they aren't getting any freebies anymore.

This is one of the worst arguments to ever exist in these forums.

The reason free daily rewards exist in this game, at least, is to encourage people to log in and play for a minimum of 5 minutes. If the daily reward system does not achieve this for both either the player or the developer, it is not functioning as it is supposed to function. More complaints show the flaw of this system and it would never be spotted if there were no complaints.

Exactly how it worked for me. I'd been trying (and failing) to take time off but the cool stuff in the daily rewards kept me logging in and then I'd end up playing just as they intended. I'm thankful that I'm not interested in January's stuff, and if the trend continues I'll be taking more and more time away.

Yeah, I have a bit of a gaming addiction. It's mostly habit right now, getting up, having coffee, playing for 3-4 hours. Now I get to work on breaking that habit. Go ahead and take them all away you won't hear me complaining about it.

Could we maybe not insult people who don't find these things worth logging in for? We're not horrible people, we're not actually Demanding anything.

I like them (who doesn't like free stuff?), but I admit the only time I made an effort to log in daily was when we had free crates or the Murkmire DLC as a reward.

No, they are all worthless. I can't stand games that hand everything, many things, or certain things to you. What's wrong with working for any and every item you want in the game?

I would love a game where you start out naked and you literally have nothing, not even a starter weapon or starter shirt. You then must go out in the world and find or craft whatever gear and items you need. It's okay to have an in-game tutorial to teach you the basics of gameplay, but starter quests should never reward you with items or money. If it takes you minutes or hours to get even just your first weapon, then so be it. Now THIS would be far more rewarding than daily rewards, in my opinion.

I mean, is it really that hard to work for stuff in a game? It's not like in real life where people all over the world struggle daily just to survive.

Anyway, my point is, I wish games would not give you anything just because you logged in. It's okay to give out rare gifts here and there and perhaps free experience boosters once in a great while. But really, let's stop dumbing down video games please.

I've been leveling a tank during the event. The tripots and tri stat food and XP scrolls have all been very helpful and cut down both the gold and time cost for levelling. I can't complain about that.

The pets and crates I have no use for really, but I'll always happily accept any free gold, telvar stones and AP :)

So, on balance, I think they're a positive.

Funny how so many people answer Yes because "it's free stuff", which isn't the point.
The point of having log in rewards serves a purpose. It's meant to incentivice people to log in. It's a carrot on a stick!
If it achieves the goal (makes it more likely that you log on) then it's a Yes. If it doesn't then it's a No.

I answered "No" because I wouldn't log in for the rewards alone.

I can't really complain about the rewards themselves, the 100k gold will allow me to buy some of the chapters I need to complete a few motif books.
Also, I don't really miss the free crown crates but honestly they weren't working at all as far as making me buying more crates goes (never bought one myself yet).
