I have not run into this.

So, you completed it on your crafter and are turning it in using the same character?

What is the style of the writ? I’d like to see the actual writ photo.

Yes and look in the thread, I posted it.

Nope. The photo of the actual writ (what I assume) says unavailable.

I see what you crafted, but the proof is in the writ.

Yeah i can't see the writ either.

Look up and tell me if it works now

    Fixed?

Yep. The only thing I can think of is you crafted on a different character and are trying to turn it in on a different one. (Or someone else crafted it).

Can you show a photo of who crafted the item versus your character with the accepted quest?

If the same, yeah that’s a bummer of a bug.

As to why you haven’t received a reply from ZOS, I would look in your junk or spam mail folders and make sure your email client is not tossing them in there for some reason. Usually when I have had to submit a ticket in the past, I’ve received at least an automated response shortly after.

I haven't but I want to avoid having it out of my inventory in case support does look and says "Sir you don't have the item, case closed."

First, you can always reply and keep the ticket open.

But more importantly, the chances of you getting a response is pretty low. And if you do get a response, the chances of them being able to fix it--given the strangeness of this situation--is also low. Chances are, the most they have the power to do is offer you some sort of compensation.

So, no, I think it's foolish here to hang all your hopes on support when you haven't exhausted all avenues of fixing it yourself.

I will try that if the support thing doesn't work out but now that I finally got a response let's see what they come back with. Maybe they can do some mat return or take the item, close the quest and give the vouchers. Who knows.

    Thanks again for your help

I thought I had the same problem. I carefully crafted exactly what the writ described: Dwemer Bow, Legendary, Charged, Way of the Arena.

After crafting the progress still shows as not having been crafted.

When I realised that the writ actually said "Epic" rather than "Legendary" I knew where I had screwed up.

I submitted a ticket, but I crafted some items, switched characters to help a friend, came back and it's not recognizing the item in my inventory as the requested item AFTER GOLDING IT!!

Of course I'm on my 3rd day of 0 acknowledgement from the support ticket, but that's just to make the situation more fun with it clogging my quest journal and the aggravation of the situation of feeling like I wasted mats on a item I'll never use and the writ won't recognize.

I'd wait on doing anything but alchemy, enchanting, or provisioning writs since those don't seem to fail so far.

I hope for your sake it wasn't an accessory you golded.

    Because that would truly suck.

Dude. The Dagger you crafted is CP150. It needs to be CP160.

It did get fixed and the customer service was excellent once I got a response. Please note this was in 2017 so extreme necro.

Incorrect, you can turn in with 150 gear, you may of been wasting mats on master writs.

Nope, it most certainly works with CP150 items, no need to waste the mats and make CP160.

Done a million of those (well, it certainly feels like a million) ...
