You mean ranged playstyle like anyone with a destro staff sitting in the back of a zerg stunning people with crushing shock or CCing them with flame reach or stunning with shock reach and doing rediculous amounts of damage? LOL

We can do exactly what you propose to all desto staff skills. Remove any and all CC and half the damage

Then you too can "fight like a man" in heavy armor and a 2 hander

In fact lets go further while we are at it, shall we? ,Lets remove all stuns, CCS, roots, snares, time stop and negate.
