ZOS you are out of your mind.
The pet should be 100 gems, and the mount should be 400 at most.
300 gems for a pet and 600 for a mount is absurd. The mount isn't even that unique and certainly not worthy of it's exorbitant price tag.
You are pricing these limited time crown gem cosmetic offerings for the richest players sitting on 10k crown gems. Please think about the other 99% of your players when you price this stuff please.
Edit: Adding that the player source of "free" gems has all but dried up. Twitch drops nerfed into the ground, players report watching 12hrs worth of streams over entire weekend promotions and not getting any drops. No more free crates as monthly login rewards. No more free crates rewarded to subs during free eso plus promotion events. No free preview crates for the Xanmeer crate season.

Jokes aside: They want ppl to spend their gems, it is easy to see that move because it is a limited timer offer. The other idea would be, because it is 20 days ... and until christmas ... that a crown sale is moving closer... just (who would have thought) some days before the mount disappears from the store ^.^

✭✭✭✭✭I don't think they expect people to have that many gems, I think this is a test to see if they can make people buy more crates to try for resplendent sweet rolls.
Break those into gems and its 400 right there. This "ultra-rare" mount then is within reach, but when you actually extrapolate the odds of any of this actually happening, you are more likely to be attacked by a grizzly bear and a great white shark in the same day.
The biggest issue is this is a prestige item, this is the Ferrari that you don't drive or the red bottom shoes. They are giving people with discretionary funds the ability to separate themselves from the unwashed masses.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.8 -

I've been advocating to bring in some mounts that are harder to get and rarer to see from the players, Radiant Apex was a good solution, but the fact it was complete RNG was crap. So I'd love to see Radiant Apex mounts come out to be sold for Gems. And if it was me, I'd say 800 Gems is fair.1 -

its worth 400 gems AT MOST (thats even too high imo, the frost horse in storm crates is 100 gems and they are the same type of mount) , 600 is highway robbery

It's okay to like the mount @TheGreatBlackBear and everyone can spend their money how they wish. I'm just calling out ZOS because honestly, they need to be confronted about their marketing strategy and increasing levels of greediness
