Long time ago, in a little moment of raging I probably shouldn't be proud of, I made a silly bet with AD, and I won that bet. And, unlike any other silly bet, proper compensation was paid for today.
This banker looks nice in that cozy little banking room I made in the guild hall, so thanks AD! Don't worry, he will be well fed.

We have approx two weeks time until then, and we will need a lot of donations for rewards in the form of mats (any kind), motifs, runeboxes, BIS vet gear, master writs, or even just straight up gold etc. I think I can come up with about 200k or so immediately, maybe even more once I get back.
I’m a bit concerned that we won’t have enough rewards to incentivize people though ... but Rak is right the fun should be worth it on its own

I have no idea if DC is as organized as it was but I'm game to do some pug wrangling for DC if needs be. Now we just need @Mjollo to get his merry band together for EP, and @DeadlyRecluse, @ShenaniganSquad and @Valen_Byte to organize AD. And then, I think there's outlaw's guild that can fill the gap on whatever faction.

✭✭✭What would be really neat if we kick off the event at a specific time and have all alliances meet in one location. That really gets people excited.
I remember when Sypher had his first event DC met AD near one of EPs keeps and all it took was someone light attacking the enemy with a restro staff to get the fight started.

- let’s start the event formally at the same time as the official campaign week during that time frame. (I believe it is the 25th or 26th)
- I will keep track of donations and make a google sheet for transparency (I will not log in until the 20th , but I will definitely update it then).
- please send the donations to me (@An-An ingame / that’s a - not a _) either now or after the 20th . I will also make a discord channel for this and update a public link, so if you wish you can also update me there with what you sent. (PS if anyone wants to volunteer for help with collecting donations and updating the public google sheet I’d appreciate it much)...
- once I have a better idea of how much we have , we can decide on the rewards ...
Every 24 hours after the event I will take a screenshot of the leaderboards and the score and announce the daily winners . Same at the end of the event / campaign.
Ideally we would want al factions to have two scrolls and approx equal map area at the beginning of the event, but I don’t know if that is feasible

Christmas and combat, those are a few of my favorite things. Public discord with vote in rewards by title ie (public nuisance, siege monkey, wielder of gems) funny stuff, give those non leader board pushers a chance to get some rewards if there's enough.

All kyne is anymore is one faction pvdooring the map. Be it early morning or late at night.
Then the faction gate camps til they get some resistance and then they disappear for the next faction to pvdoor.
You might get on average, about 2hrs of pvp anymore in kyne, from my last experiences there.
You say this as if its a planned thing... >.<... its not, its called life and timezones.. there just doesnt seem to be a general time when each faction has similar numbers. Evenings australian time, lots of aussies, not many americans.. evenings usa time, lots of americans not many aussies..
I still dont get the derogatory slant on people who play when they can play.. every faction pvdoors, not because thats their preference, but because the other factions dont have numbers online at the same time.. its always been a mystery to me why people continue to complain about other people playing when they are not...0 -

Unless of course you are one of those players who cant play in vivec or sotha due to lag.. like me and the aussies in my guild. A) Im not good enough to play vivec solo,
im not a solo pvper, I enjoy the ava game play, if I wanted to solo pvp I would go hang out in auridon, therefor I play with a team, and we dont have a team good enough for vivec. c) Sotha is less laggy (about the same as kyne) but I dont think those of you with 100 ping understand just how much 300 ping really makes a difference in vet pvp... and lastly d) There are alot of kyne players, people who just enjoy under 50 pvp, raw and without all the bells and whistles, why should they stop playing kyne just because of someone else thinks they should go to vet?... its silly 0
