    I think it probably is. Seattle is a shithole the last couple years. Bellingham is where it's at man. Come north.

    Vet pvp is like kyne x 2. Everyone moves 2x as fast, everyone hits 2x as hard, and the lag is 2x as bad.

    But really though it's just a different pace of play, you will get used to it.

    It took me about 2 months running solo and tweaking my build to get to the point that I didn't just die when I got looked at. Im still shite but if you throw your build up here I'm sure there are a lot of skilled players who read this thread and would be happy to give feedback.

    Right now I am trying a 2H/DW nightblade. I don't like to cloak or use bow
    Have tried - Seventh Legion, Ravager, Hundings, Briarheart, Spriggans so far. They're all the same ...

    Finally ended up with (taken in no CP land, stats are much better with CP) -

    Ideally I'd like a Master DW for the back bar but haven't completed vDSA yet. Could also use a monster set and agility but I've been wanting to try the Gryphon 5 piece bonus, which looks kinda sweet when done right.

    Damage-wise this build is great. I can kill/put dot pressure on most people but survivability is an issue, especially when outnumbered.

    Interesting, I had to log in early and play a bit to see if it worked. I couldn't really test it because of low pop in vivec and i was getting around 60 fps ; however, my fps did drop to 45 a few times.

    Yesterday I was lagging bad in Vivec, so tonight I will definitely try this.

    @An_An I'm not a stam player so I can't give much advice in terms of build or playstyle. But I play mainly solo so I have a few insights to being "surviveable" in vet pvp.

    I'll start by saying, This is not kyne, It is very hard to just face tank multiple players. All it takes is one player of equal or better skill to come along and ruin a potato farm.

    Solo play relies on the ability to use your environment to los, mobility is key. I like to play in certain parts of the map and lure people into my realm. I like to find areas where I have multiple points of escape and multiple points to los with. The best areas are normally rocks for my playstyle. Los is the best way to mitigate damage.

    You can 1vx players just as good as you are. You just need to capitalize on mistakes made. This is where knowing your killing zone can come into play. They can make a mistake such as falling off a rock, burning out resources because they feel safe in numbers, or even just letting shields drop. This can help even the odds for a short time if you can recognize and capitilize on these mistakes.

    As for as damage goes. You need to be able to burst people down, or bleed them out. If you are not able to burst people down through a combo or bleed them out then solo play will be near impossible. You need to be able to take out a player which has made a mistake and take him it fast, if you don't you will end up kiting until you die.

    This is what I think about when creating my builds, and it has worked for me. Hope this little bit of advice helps
