Yep... par for the course. I opened a total of 48 boxes and got motifs, plunder, crystals, keys, maps/surveys, and one single Karthwolf Shepard.

Thank you for providing us with this information. The Undaunted Event seems like an easy way to get extra motifs/keys. I got 2 pets from the 5 boxes that I opened, so I'm grateful for that.

Yep, same here. Had over 60 boxes myself and the most notable of received items were pets (3: silver daenian werewolf tracker, haj mota, and dragon construct). The rest were motifs, surveys/treasure maps, transmute crystals, keys, and plunder.

I opened 188 boxes on PC/NA (across multiple accounts). No mounts. No houses. Some ugly pets. And a truckload of motifs. But since I know all the motifs (I farm the vet HMs of the dungeons when the motifs come out), the motifs were pretty worthless too.

Last year's event was better--I was able to get collectibles that were not obtainable in-game on multiple accounts. This year? Just 150+ motifs that I had gotten in-game eons ago. Blah.

Complete crap event. Promising stuff hidden behind hideus RNG.

I opened many boxes, but didn't get what i truly wanted, the Bone dragon pet. Ah well.

And also, i'm gona take a break from doing FG1, both normal and vet for a while. The very thought of it now makes me wanna puke. ,

Thank goodness for this event, as I was finally able to afford the motifs that i've always wanted (fang lair and scalecaller). I had given up the hope of ever attaining them. I didn't finish it all but i just filled in the gaps of the pieces i wanted to buy on top of the few i did get during this event. Getting the motifs i didn't need means there's a chance i can recuperate the money i spent for the motifs i did need. All and all it was a great opportunity for bargain hunters like me.

Didn't do it. Didn't miss it. Lucky to have 12 tickets leftover from CWC. Still have 2 and am sure I can manage 8 more in the New Life Festival.

This is a game I play to have fun. The third event didn't look like or sound like fun. Chat was resplendent with complaint.

I did three toons per day. The dungeons were all normals so it was hardly a challenge of any kind.

I got quite a few Scalecaller and Fang Lair motifs (all of which I didn't yet have) which will save my crafter quite a bit of gold.

The rest I have pretty much sold. The rarest thing I got was a silver dog - it's OK.

Got some keys and stones - all pretty nice to have.

All good really.

I think if you got the island from a normal dungeon box, you pretty much beat the game

I opened 35 boxes and got:
3 keys
5 undaunted plunder
11 motifs
7 surveys
7 treasure maps
1 pet (some wolflike one)
1 house (Hakkvild’s High Hall)

I opened maybe a total of 12-15 boxes and got both of those pets and a similar distribution of motifs and surveys and keys. This is why I never spend much time on these events. You can obviously learn more styles or make a lot more money, but other than that why waste the time? Guildies got houses in just a few runs. RNG is really RNG, doing 100 runs or doing 10 runs doesn’t change the chances because it resets every time you don’t get the prize you want. So I just log on when I feel like it and do a few each day because that’s how many it takes before it starts to feel grindy.

I did one dungeon per day. Got a nice pet dog, three motifs that I wanted to learn and 3 keys. Ran MoS twice Fanglair, scalecaller, ICP, Eldon hollow 2 and WGT. Fungal grotto came up twice which were the only runs where the groups were entirely knobbish.
