You do realise that it is a bad idea to do a 6 hours maintenance on a Saturday morning for the whole world, especially for the people from Europe and the Orient, and later on for the people on the east cost of the United States.

You guys should have just given us the regular maintenance last Monday, or at least addressed this issue long before the event, since it was the same issue from last year.

There's no way this maintenance could wait till Monday, but you're right. I'm UK and this is gonna be 9am - 3pm ISH. Right across the middle of the day! Them EVERYONE will pile on in the evening, & something will break, like it always does

Honestly, we should receive some compensation. Whether that's extending the event (not sure if there's enough time before New Life Festival), or sending us the missed tickets AND boxes (I'm mostly bothered about boxes) - there has to be something. At the end of the day, subbed or not, we pay for this game & the service.

Since the event, I've managed one lot of event tickets, & one box. Not a happy camper

The event advertisement banner at the bottom of this page is making me lol though

Everyone with ESO+ on the EU servers should be compensated for thiis outage, peak time weekend & all you are going to do is break the system even more!

Idea: Rather than just extending the event, have mini-versions once in a while, just of the random dungeon part. (The event tickets part is "close enough to fine".)

I think that works in terms of fairness and fun, but it has another advantage too:

It gives the developers a vehicle for periodic load testing.

I have Eso+ and could only play on weekends.And ZOS you steal use the most of our Saturday for a patch.Why need a fix 6 Hours to get it on the servers?Are you uploading your patches with a 56K Modem or what????And why you are not host Evasive Server?Thats very, very poor for a Companie which make so much Cash with Abos and the Crown Store.

Simple fix Zos. Seeing as it's an undaunted event, make it so that you can get the tickets & boxes from doing the Bolgrul quests. That way we can all get them without having to use that broken activity finder.

What I don't like about this event is the grinding part again. Motifs are a way to make money in this game, part of the economy. Yet again, thanks to a grind fest, the market will be flooded by tons of motif pages and the prices will drop by 80%.
You have every player with a bit of time queue 5-10-15 times a day to run through a dungeon like fungal grotto 1. What's the point? It's boooooring and repetitive (boring again). If you wanted to give players more chances to get a motif, why not give 3 or 5 motifs in a single box and make it once a day per account?

2-3 hours of maintenance are ok, 6 hours too much.

Addressing the previously reported problem DURING the event is laughable.

Attempting to rectify it (we'll see if this patch is as effective as the last one) during peak European time is baffling.

Will you extend the event for European servers?

Will you compensate PAYING customers on all platforms for any of these outages?

Having paying customers beta test your product without any recognition or compensation is simply insulting. Where do I apply to get my subscription refunded?

One thing I've learned about about this game is that quite honestly, the core infrastructure of this game is garbage. The dungeon finder bug "someone declined their invite" has been on going for as long as I've been playing, the search system in the traders is useless, you buy an item from a trader and you must wait an age for the item to turn up in the mail, or you need to zone to another area. Pathetic for a modern MMO. You want to browse your items listed on the trader, oh wait the list does not want to show...

The servers just seem flaky and cannot handle large amount of players, just look at PVP in Cyrodiil when a large number of people turn up. Never seen lag and a slideshow like it.

Well, it 2AM MST here. I just got off work. This is my play time.
I also play in morning, 9-10AM MST.. Won't get to play at all today, but thats ok IF they get things fixed.

ALSO! Is this the right time and place to ask who's bright idea it was to run 4 events back to back, make it a grind fest to get event tickets and feathers, tie it into GDF for 3rd event?
Stop with this excessive event grind that just burns players out having to "get that box! Get that Ticket!" And after knowing from last year how this would go??? Really???

wieder eine taktische meisterleistung, gratulation. es ist aufjedenfall wesentlich günstiger dubiose nutzlosupdates und oder patchdinger einzusspielen, vor allem an wochenenden, einfach um einige viele spieler davon abzuhalten teso weiterzusspielen, umso zu hoffen die performanceprobleme in den griff zu bekommen, als eine korrekte hardware in den sogenannten megaservern einzubauen die dem andrang an spielern standhalten können um ein reibungsloses spielvergnügen evtl. zu garantieren.respekt

Yeah... Guys... Use the time to dig out EVERY post for "dungeon finder broken" in the last years and link it here.

I bet we will get an AWESOME overview how much time ZOS had to fix the problem before instead of doing it on the EVENT WEEKEND.

btw: People who are "working their ass off" (like the fellow above (and me)) are the ones who BUY stuff from your great ingame shop.

My first bet is that they are not going to fix anything with that maintenance.
Second bet is that steam users are f*cked for the whole day, just like everytime they try to fix something...
