Gotta admit, the time for this is absurd. 8:00 pm here in Melbourne Australia, which means no time to do the event at all for me. But like always, we have to take it cause we're ignored down here.

Oh Lord XD Tannenhirsch you made my year. This song was often used on our TV station years ago as a time filler. You used to have gaps in the programmes before there were enough ads to fill the spaces. Also when something broke and interrupted the broadcast. Hah.

The notification itself says 9:00 to 15:00 UTC. So they still have another 2 hours to stay within that window. Joy.

"Fixing things" is never a priority in business like yours, I know. It doesn't make money. Making new content for release (half ready, as in "filled with bugs, not tested sufficiently") is a priority though. Money makes a business such as this roll on, that's the truth.

But you guys should heed these words - if no one is playing the game anymore, you won't have anyone to buy your new DLC's. New random people sure as **** won't just get all excited and buy this game, based on some advert they saw on Facebook or whatever. WE are the ones buying it. I can imagine the number of new players for ESO isn't what is was a couple if years ago? You know why. They leave because the game isn't working. The PVP base has largely left already, and now the PVE people are next in turn.

With Betehesda's completely ****** up Fallout game - a catastrophe without comparison in the world of gaming, literally - you really should start considering stepping down from your high horses, and put new content on hold for just a while and actually fix the game. If you can't then bring someone who can in. Because this isn't working any more. You can't dish out new content for a game without players. Realize this.

Many or most of the people I used to play with are rare guests now. They would WANT to play the game, but they are so sick of all these bugs and glitches on all levels that they have become hyper sensitive; and log out and stay away until your next patch as soon as they encounter any sort of problem. Bitter. Playing other games instead. This game would flourish, if you just had things working as they should.

Hello, does this mean that you will finally grant me my server migration? I live in Europe (Belgium to be specific), but found myself on the NA server caused by a glitch. By the time I realised I was on the wrong server, I had already invested too much in my character.

Starting over is unfortunately not an option.

I'm also a paying costumer (Eso Plus Membership). It would seem to me it's only a fair service to provide, seeing as it wasn't my fault to begin with.

I'm an enthusiastic gamer, and have played several MMO's where server migration was just a matter of an extra payed service and done instantly.

Provide this and I guarantee you will not only satisfy millions of customers, you will also make a profit.

After all, I'm not the only one struggling with this problem.

As there is a current maintenance going on and it's only a matter of data-transfer, will you please migrate my character so I can game in my own time zone? I would greatly appreciate this, thank you.

Dont worry mate. NA or EU server, your ping is all the same Lag :D

You realize a lot of their issues are due to the engine, including port problems on consoles, right? If I'm correct, a large amount of PC players never have the same issues that console players constantly complain about. Based on the complaints, their only choice is to remake the game with a new engine, and hope that would be better. And threatening them with quitting, as well as warning them about others, doesn't really hold up; mainly because this game is as popular as it's ever been.

The Finder was never able to handle many ppl at once, thats why the finder is working in the night and breaks afternoon/evening.

I agree and doubt that whatever "fix" they think they have won't work because they haven't been able to fix it over the course of a couple years so I doubt a 4 hour maintenance will do the trick :/

it doesn't matter the slightest little bit what I "realize". And if you are going to tell me that PC platform is without flaws, I can but laugh at you.
And the problem remains: The game largely doesn't work, neither for PVP nor PVE. I'm not supposed to fix this, then I want a fat ******* paycheck. Now I'm supposed to pay instead. They need to make this game work, and the problems are not (only) console related. If it was, then why would all platforms be offline because of the same problem? What are you, some kind of ZOS employee or what?

And no, the game isn't as popular as it used to be. That's just a lie. Many people love this game, but many of the old players just log in and do their crafting etc., waiting and hoping for ZOS to fix the game. They are sick and tired of things always being like this.
New DLC's are not filled with happy expectations, no the old players base just wait and see how and on how many levels they will mess things up this time. How many extra maintenances there will be, how many patches we can expect - will we even be able to play in Cyrodiil, will the trials still work?

I love this game too. But I admit that there are major flaws, flaws that needs to be dealt with. No matter how much I love it, just like with a relation that's never sorted out and working properly, I will eventually leave. There are other fish in the sea, and the clock ticks. There are better ways to spend your time, than to constantly wait for improvements; or waiting to even have things working on a fundamental basic level.

Same here, used the finder, got a pop, but then stuck in an infinite loading screen 5 minutes and counting...
Edited to add that I did my writs before using the finder and my ping was a lot higher than usual while I was in Rawlk'ha, and I got a few spikes, which I don't usually get there, unless it's right after I port to the zone. I don't know if it's related to the loading screen issue or not.

The problem with th dungeon group finder began with Homestead, and the bug is stil there, it wasn't completely fixed, because on each new DLC the problem is back. It's really annoying.

Yes there is flaws, some are known and doens't cause any problem to enjoy the game, some on the other way are too difficult to ignore and are too visible.

ZOS says that their job is not to fix the game and only give new content, but if each new content is more buggy than the previous one or put new bugs that will annoy people...

They are in kind of two categories of players in the game, the casuals ones doing simple quests, daily quest, crafting and so on, on the other side they are the regular and "competitive" players who does dungeons/ pledges and raids + pvp (either cyrodiil or battleground). The last category is the most annoyed by the bugs because it sees them almost all the time. So they decide to pause or quit the game because of it, and that understandable.

If ZOS don't find people to fix their problems (not a server problem for what i know but a problem of algorithm, it's the way they code that cause the main problem, it seems) , if they don't fix the game, less and less people will play it, so in the end they lose money.

So their argument is not really convincing and not true. At first it will cost them, but in the end, it's a worhty investment, because a game who is finished or almost and doesn't have majors bugs and repetitives ones is more enjoyable than one with a lot of but and not enjoyable.

The one who pays the most are the ESO + and most of them are not casual players but doing dungeons, raids, pvp ...

It's true that's a game, but it's a game where a lot of people are paying to play it, so when you pay something you expect that the product will have the least flaws possible or you return it to the compagny who made it...

ZOS, i really suggest that you find someone, even in the game community, i don't really care who, but someone who's the best or almost the best to fix the problems that you create, so you'll lose a little money and in the end, more players will come, so more money in your pocket....
