Actually if you just do a nonrandom dungeon (or solo or make a group) and kill the boss you'll get the event tix, just not the event box with the goodies.

Synthwavius✭✭✭✭PSA: When you logout after kiling the final boss you won't get the undaunted mail with a box. Just a heads up. I wanted to queue again, the tool broke and I realized I don't need 8th bows motif. 10/10 would play this event again1 -

Logged out and tried different character but just the same . No more of this for me tonight, try again in the morning1

crazyranger✭✭I got my small bone dragon construct this AM before the servers went to crap i don't care what i get for the rest of the event. ZOS will probably not address it until monday ..... No music, nothing. I even left the game and closed the game down and then went back in and tried to play the same character. It looked for a second that it would work, but no. SammiSakura✭✭✭✭Okay, so at least theyre patching it, but seriously, 10am-3pm on a saturday? for once, can they patch at a time they wont screw EU players?! we will essentially have missed 3 days of this event, and they cant extend it because New Life starts immediately after this. So ZOS are boning us, as always. Might as well just bend over and accept it at this point

Wow, not only do we not get to do the event because of bugs, but we also don't get to play regular ESO for several hours because of the event bugs. This is getting worse by the hour!4 -

✭✭✭✭@Threemoons you don't have to solo if you don't want to. You can still manually group up if you find you want/need help. You'll just have to directly port into the dungeon of choice or walk through the front door.

Bevik✭✭✭✭They put a fix up for this in 1 day but they couldn't do it in 1 year. I'm a bit sceptical.14 -
lemonizzle✭✭✭✭The finder, that always had issues, broken in the second the event starts. Then after 8 or so hours, it magically fixes itself, only to fall apart (again, for no reason) 21 hours later. If they somehow fixed it just enough that you are able to get in sometime, leave it at that and fix for real after event ends - when everyone is grinding new life anyway... These occurences are always a good reminder not to sub or buy crates1 -

Dungeon finder issues? I dont know what people whinge about with DF, the only issue I have ever had has been due to DF being triggered to find a replacement before a pull of final boss, boss killed and the finder summoning me into a finished dungeon.
Everything I have seen people complain about isnt actually to do with the DF and mostly is impatience.0 -

Many guildies reporting same issues, group runs cannot start.
Why does it need a patch?

Stil, if it's going to fix Group finder in the long run... go for it.

Data, especially in a game as massive as ESO, is such a beautiful thing. It can be monitored, analyzed, and used to fix problems and prevent them from happening again.
Take for example the Group Finder bug which happened last year. There should have been so much data gathered from that event that the team could prevent it from happening this year (they had a year to work on it).
The fact that it is happening again makes me sad and confused. This is exactly why we have and use data. To monitor. To analyze. To learn. To improve.
ZOS failed to do that, which makes me wonder what (and if) they are even looking at.
