Super Lag since official launch day

    No lag at all during early access! But, today falling and more falling through graphics until finally dying. /reloadui seemed to work but LAG is so strong its making me motion sick. I understand the volume is high but plenty of time has passed to become some what prepared to effectively make changes to the server. I took a dump on WoW 3 years ago because they cared little for their paying customers. At the end of my free month if im still having unplayable issues I will defecate on Bethesda and friends as well. hope I didn't waste $80 on this game....MOM!!!! more tacos!!! Now!

    I have been experiencing two different events mentioned here in this thread: the complete screen freezes of the game that last anywhere from 3-6 seconds (but are a bit rarer occurrence for me and have been going on since beta) and the latency issues, which are the far worse problem for me since I become disconnected from the game but can still run around in it. I ran resource monitor while playing to monitor latency, and it reported a 70 ms latency DURING heavy lag where I had completely lost my connection to the game and was simply running around a non-interactive world for minutes. It didn't even kick me for some time. I have run speedtest.net right after and around the time of the massive disconnects/latency issues, and my connection has always maintained its full speeds of 30Mb/s down and 5Mb/s up with 60ms ping up to 50 km away. So this surely must by server side. If it isn't server side then I am clearly missing something here.

    Well it was the official launch day..so of course you'll be lagging. You have so many more people logging onto the server now. Having to render all the items + all of the people is going to make things slow.

    (I'm now able to play on ultra high mode with no issues at all.)

    I just want to keep this thread going and make sure that the techs know that this is a major problem that needs to be fixed. If this means revamping the entire game and adding more servers, so be it. If this is not fixed within the next couple weeks, I assume all who are experiencing this issue will be entitled to a full refund. The console versions of the game have not been released; it goes without saying that ignoring this issue (as well as the customers) would destroy The Elder Scrolls Online's reputation, and ensure that console sales and the number of subscribers will be directly impacted by the inadequacies of the 'one server system'.

    Well come 8m (mst) till 11:30pm i cannot play the game either because of 8-10 seond lag spikes ... sadly .. I could play at all hours during the beta lol... Now its just the 3ish hours everyday unplayable...any other time of the day I have no issues

    Hello, just for information I am a French player playing on the EU server and I experience a totally damn lag problem since the 1st of April. I play MMO for 14 years now, I bought the imperial digital edition but with such LAG I just think I will go back playing on FFXIV. To tell truth I am sent by my guildmates mmh we're nearly 60+ members to tell them if they can follow me or not on TESO but at the time am writing, I told them not at all due to this lag problem. I really wish you will fix that problem in priority otherwise I will resign my membership guess so. And I am only playing PVE for now ... Thank you.

    It's bad for me in Vukhel Guard and Skywatch. It's completely ridiculous in Elden Root. I try to avoid the area near it as much as possible because I can barely move. :(

    Gotta love the logic of "they dont answer a specific thread = they dont give a f''k about the game they've spent 7 years making".

    Me and my friends have the same network lag issue. We all located different countries from Asia and East / Central EU and we all live that 5-6 seconds connection freezes and "Unknown Error" logouts. We all play on EU Megaserver which is we know that located in US at the moment.

    It's so annoying to have this and MUST BE FIXED as soon as possible. It's even more annoying than bugs.

    What solved it for me was actually an advice from ZOS:

    "Looking at the tracert that you sent in we determined that it looks like the information is going through a bad route to get back to you and thus could be why you are getting the kickouts and lag spikes. To attempt to fix this please follow these steps to flush your DNS:

    Windows 7:

    Click on the Start button
    Type cmd in the Start Menu
    Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
    Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter
    If it was successful, you will see the message "Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache."
    Power cycle the router to clear the cache so that it doesn't store the bad route
