Crow incursions. People that Ultimate dump them.
No need. Heaven forbid you get a couple light attacks in instead.

In the past several days, over three times, I've been standing over a clockwork city scavenger item that I needed, fighting the Clockwork city mechanical beings that were guarding it, and someone came in and grabbed it, while I was fighting. Since they weren't fighting, they had no trouble picking it up! I'd say that it was mostly new players, but one of the opportunists had a character score of 810, which indicates that they've been doing this a while. People need to come out of the PVP mode for regular quests and daily quests!
Rick, I have been complaining about this since day one.
Resource hackers.
They always will come in and steal what you believe rightfully belongs to you.
It's just too bad ZOS didn't make a friendly memento to interupt players in pve for at least 5 seconds that stuns them so you can pick up your resource node.
That will teach those 5 year olds a lesson.
I use the mudball collectible on people who steal a node while I'm fighting the thing guarding it.
It doesnt interrupt them. They still get the node.
But it gets the point across. I'm a fellow player. And I think you're a jerk.
I would blame the developers, not the players.
They were the one who designed the current system. Expecting players to stop and ask if you were interested in a nearby node while fighting before grabbing it themselves likely isn't going to happen. I've actually passed on a node before next to someone fighting only for them not to have even wanted it when they were done. Then of course someone else came along and grabbed it.
