Why are there no prepaid time cards at the retailers? I went to buy mine today and Gamestop said they've received NOTHING from zenimax? Why were the cards not released on april 4th so we wouldnt get this interruption in our play time? Im so disapointed right now about this...
There is a lot of frustration on this matter but I think some of it comes from the fact that we have become accustom to the F2P mentality when it comes to MMOs. I recall WoW, EVE, early LOTRO and many others that started as subscription models requiring a credit card up front and pre-authorizing them.
This is not outrageous, just something many MMO players have not ever seen or not seen in a very long time.

really? last time i checked if you spent the money and bought wow and they gave you a free trial you didnt have to enter in any addition information you just clicked a few times and played for however like the trial was for. and in this case its not even a free trial we bought this. it came as a part of the $80 imperial edition i bought. also why did they give us the pre release play time and a few day's after the release to play the game without entering in this information?

Just make sure you let them know whether your ordered it through them or someone else. They will give you a 1 day code that you put in the prepaid section under billing when you try to redeem your activation key and this will allow you to use your free 30 days. Just make sure they give you the key, if they apply it themselves you still won't be able to add your key and you'll have to contact them again.
That is what most of us are getting sadly, you have to keep at it i think to actually get somewhere. as i said i've been trying for four days, i had a mod message me earlier saying they were looking at my ticket and i'll receive a response soon, i've received nothing yet but i'm hopeful i guess.Arsenic_Touch wrote: »If you can't add a CC or debit card to your account, contact support. I sent them the mail explaining that problem, but all i got was completely mechanized and premade response explaining me how to do what i CAN'T do as i don't have a CC i can use for this. Do i have to ask them something specific? Do they even write the responses themselves?
