a teleport to enter the sewers directly so i dont have to traverse through a zone full of silly pvp nonsense.

    for cyrodiil:
a full pve version of the zone so i can do delves, anchors, fish, collect, do quests and not have to deal with silly pvp nonsense.

the whiny pvp’ers hate this only because us carebears are easy prey and we wont be in those zones since we will have OUR version for US. and then those whiny pvp’ers would actually have real pvp’ers to give them a true fight.
but then again, thats just gonna ruin pve even more as those whiny pvp kids will just get more things nerfed.

the only solution is to just remove pvp from eso.
    problem solved!

Where did the pvper touch you to make you hate pvp so much? Truthfully they won’t because people like you don’t understand that we pvpers also bought the game. So sadly deal with it

Bring back the glorious arcade style battles we had in the arena district before the dark brotherhood dlc.

Those were so awesome. It was the Alessia Bridge/Milegates brawls with a shorter ride back, no siege and no one whining in zone you weren't taking X objective instead.

    1. Make it double ap in IC
    2. Increase viriety of sets you could buy with tel var.
    3. There needs to be more PVP titles and skins that can be earned in general with pvp. Give some unique ones specific to IC that acutslly mean something. Like antitle for 1000000 tell var earned from player kills, or skins/costums related to a certain layer kill count or ap earned in IC.

The current rewards for PVP are incredibly lackluster and have been for some time now. Emperor and grand overlord are the 2 highest achievements and both are extremely watered down with how easy it is to farm emp and the increase of ap gains in general. I remember getting Grand overlord the first 2 years when a kill gave you like 800ap. That had already double for casuals to catch up. Shame.

Speaking of PVP, we seriously need some more titles like something for solo kills. Or some kind of skin.

If Do Age of Camelot could do it on a game 16 freaking years old, ESO should.

ESPECIALLY SINCE THE PVP DEVELOPER FOR DARK AGE OF CAMELOT DESIGNED CYRODIIL AND PVP FOR ESO LOL!!!

Alchemy satchels are amazing, what do you mean?

I can get about 5 times more mats an hour running an alchemy node route than i can farming telvar and i dont have to worry about losing it once i have it nor do i have to do some nonsense silly travel just to get to it. Telvar is a big faf. In fact i got like 10 or 15k telvar and i cant even be bothered to go get the satchels, lil lone earn more.

If I could wayshrine direct and not have it a PVP zone (even without TV), I would certainly go.

But as long as it remains cumbersome to access, has pathetic rewards, and encourages the worst type of PVP (ganking) - I'll never go.

Totally agree. Let's face it, the majority of the players that avoid it do so because of the Telvar loss.

As a person who complete main quest, collect all skyshards, polymorphs and skin I have 0 reasons go here again in its current form and doing all this content was rather tedious than enjoyable. As mentioned above, it’s inconvenient to get there, frustrating to die and even if you get a good amount of TV there is not much to spend them on.
Remove TV loss and improve rewards for daily quests (add IC sets to them in addition to TV Satchel) and I would definitely go there from time to time. That would be very nice to be able to port directly to the sewer base and if bosses drop IC sets as well. But that without removing or decreasing TV gain. I’m not against pvp in IC and It’s still would be nice place for pvp but without toxicity of ganking and robbing others of their TV.
Adding pve only option without TV kinda pointless. I would probably go there from 1 or 2 characters for skyshards and main quest but that's just it. There wouldn’t be much sense return here again.

A seperation of PvE and PvP.

And no, I'm not a carebear. I like it when it's either or, not a horrible amalgamation. You cannot build for simultaneously PvP and PvE without sacrificing a lot. If I want PvP, I don't want PvE. If I want PvE, I don't want PvP. You have no choice in Imperial City. It must be fun fighting a player (or capture a point) when you have to worry about 60 Xivkyn with a Daedric Boss attacking you...Or trying to fight said Boss while someone decides to gank you.

I've never completed the story of Imperial City just because it's PvE/PvP. Usually I get distracted because I get into PvP combat too much. I just searched up the story to save me time.

And that's the best part about IC. Players can't run cookie cutter builds from YT there, this is why I love it so much, there is less cancer in IC because you need to consider being effective both ways :)

The only thing useful to me in IC is that i could use TV stones to get alchemy ingredients. But its far easier to to just farm the nodes. To go back to IC, i would need:

    1) No TV loss on death.
    2) Better rewards for TV stones.

I would consider it then depending on the rewards. As it is there are many many better things to do with my time.

It's a million times quicker and much easier to farm TV than nodes.

In Coldharbour you can get about 25-40 of each node per hour (Most populated plant farm)
You get roughly a minimum stack of 200 (each node) for 100k stones (1 hour max @ 6~ bosses)

Plant satchels are arguably the best and most consistent money in the game; if you're a strong enough solo player.

Secondly, and I've seen a few people say it and similar things like "make it a PVE zone" but I just happened to quote you:
    1) No TV loss on death.

This is a no-go. It has already turned into a PvE zone, we're talking about reviving it - Not making it a PvE alchemy/gold mats paradise.

Make the telvar loss on PVP death 80% again and add something useful to buy, besides plants - Currently, it's significantly quicker for me to farm 10 elite adds than it is to find someone with 5k stones, of which I get 2.5k - It's a bit pathetic.

I also like the idea of it being FFA / Group based - With group sizes capped (As they are in dungeons) to a max of say 6 or so.

Going to IC with a PvE char:
    Pros:
    - Doing the quest line. It's a one-time event per character, you can't repeat it. It's quite good, though, so do it during low traffic times.
    - Tel Var. Stuff you can buy for Tel Var is not very rewarding, and the risk of losing the progress of an hour of farming makes it unattractive, esp. the psychological side.
    - Keys. Had their use when Spell Power Cure was actually good; now, IC sets mostly aren't worth the hassle.
    Cons:
    - Hard to get to.
    - When dying to PvP, no rezzing on the spot. You have to backtrack all the frigging way, esp. in the sewers.
    - Dying to PvP. Even if I thought that it's no big deal, why risk it at all? Esp. because
    - The rewards aren't worth it.

Going to IC with a PvP char:
    Pros:
    - Not much competition, I guess?
    - Tel Var. See above.
    Cons:
    - Have to stalk in ugly sewers for a long time to find people if farming for player Tel Var. I could've spent my time better.
    - PvP is not different from Cyrodiil except there are fewer people. So why go to IC if I can have the same but better in Cyrodiil?
    - Not much fun unless you're hard into ganking.
    - Zerging keeps in Cyrodiil requires more skill than ganking PvErs in IC.

Going to IC with a hybrid:
    - Why the hell would I have a hybrid???

So to answer the original question:
    Separate PvP and PvE.

    Separate PvP and PvE.

    PVE
    1. You can bank as frequently as you want in IC - There's even 10k AP stones that take you straight to the bank in < 10 seconds - Play smarter.
    2. Yes no reviving on the spot. You're suggesting that if I go and kill 6 players alone they should be able to res one by one after death and join back in on my depleted resources (Zergling mentality) - Let's not forget if you control the district you spawn about 100m away.
    3. Because no risk no reward and because it takes anywhere from 3-10 minutes to make 20k stones, this isn't 2016 where 10k stones took an hour down the ladders. Cyrodil doesn't offer anything besides loot boxes and the money you can make through telvar is the best in the game.
    4. See #3.

    PVP
    1. Not a pro as people still think it's 2016 as I've said and bank on 5k stones - Not to mention the sheer lack of players - You make more farming a couple bosses than you do in a couple hours PVPing down there. (You only receive 50% now as well...)
    2. PVP is different from Cyrodil: there's no siege, there's no hiding on/in keeps, group sizes are so much smaller and always were (Even when the 3 zergs used to fight in Arena district whilst stronger players duelled by the vault) and so on..
    3. Don't need to be ganking at all, gankers exist throughout Cyrodil in hordes.
    4. No lol. Putting siege down, pressing shoot and then blindly following a zerg of players is the most mundane and inept thing you could possibly do in this game. Just as a side note - Being a PVP zone and in the middle of Cyro, you're welcome to wear PVP gear. If you want to go PvE for quicker kills then that's your choice. Almost comes back to the no risk no reward logic, except even in PVP gear you'll get kills quickly and will be rewarded.

    1. Ok, we have separate PVP and PVE already - Cyrodil and the rest of the world, respectively.
That would mean, PVPers are fighting against PVPers who have no reason to risk anything and thus, gain nothing.
PVE players would show up in masses and you'd get a 1/30 share of a 10k boss kill (@3* multiplier)

I get that this is an opinion topic but at least think about what you're all saying about a PVP-first PVE-second zone.

Separate IC from Cyrodiil population. Make it its own PvP instance so that it doesn't negatively impact Cyrodiil population caps and that instantly ports you into your faction's base.

Remove current Tel Var gear from vendors and make them available from bosses, vaults, dailies, etc. instead. Revamp and return old 3pc sets like Relics of the Ancients, to the vendors instead.

Add a Sewer Daily that requires killing a random Sewer Boss (excluding Wandering bosses and Molag Bal). Sewers are pretty much dead outside Molag Bal and even if this got implemented, I can see a lot of grievances that could occur but if the rewards are made better, it could be pretty nice. As such, on top of the typical loot box reward, have this daily provide a random crafting satchel, like Conquest Dailies do.

Make all bosses (City and Sewer) have a new plunder item we can exchange for Tel Var. Nothing like killing a boss and getting gang banged by a zerg, losing your Tel Var in the process. This helps alleviate some of the loss and gives some more incentive to do Sewer bosses.

Remove Flags from districts. They destroyed what little PvP there was in IC since they forced several load screens between conflicts, making the PvP less engaging in general.

Give those civilians littered throughout the city a purpose. Maybe have them gift you Tel Var or a piece of gear for saving them. Hell, add a daily to save them that has a chance to drop a Soul Shriven Mount for all I care.
