I don't need a user id to know if someone is a female. All they need to do is start chatting.

To be fair, there's quieter spots of the community where it DOES happen and I'm making a small generalization here; usually it's in poorly managed guilds. And I've seen it swing from men being sexist to women and women being sexist to men. As far as the thread goes? According to the DPS range, 28k is low enough where I've heard a lot of people in the group finder getting kicked as well. Especially if there's a wipe in vet content. So I'm not at all surprised.

I’m a guy but in general, I think women in the game command more respect than men. Most of the guilds I am in, the leader is a woman. They are both tough and understanding at the same time. I have never seen/heard anyone pick on or degrade a woman...unless she was trying to sell a vampire bite in zone chat!

Well, I actually did it once. She kicked me from the guild because I wrote *clean chat is lame* in the guild chat.

I questioned this, asked several guildies what happened and they responded, she had a bad day.

I told her it was just a joke and I didn't consider her action appropriate. Then she stated I would deserve another chance.

And that was the reason. As simple as that. Maybe I assaulted her for her gender. Maybe a guy would never have told me that I deserved another chance, just simply reinvited me or never kicked me in the first place. >:)

    I'd go by what this page says here;

    https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6894/~/how-do-i-change-my-elder-scrolls-online-userid?

    To quote;
If you would like to change your ESO UserID, follow the steps below:
    1. Sign in to your ESO account here.
    2. Under Account Info, select Edit Account Info.
    3. Select the EDIT button next to your current UserID.
    4. Enter new UserID, answer your secret question, and click SAVE.
    5. Check the email account associated with your ESO account for the required Access Code.
    6. Enter the Access Code in the Access Code field.
    7. This confirmation will automatically log you out of the account page.
    8. Sign back in to your account to confirm that UserID change has occurred.

You will now have a new ESO UserID!

Please note that if you are logged in to the game when performing a UserID change, you will need to log out and back in to complete the process.

Console Players: Please note that console accounts will not automatically have a UserID if the account verification was not completed. After you have created your ESO account on console (Xbox One or PlayStation 4), you have 72 hours to verify it via an email sent to the address associated with your account. If you have not received a verification email, you can request another one by pressing [X] (Xbox One) or [Circle] (PS4) at the prompt.

It says nothing about having a limit and I know someone who personally has changed their name literally five times. There's a cooldown, I can't remember if it was a month or a week, but... There ya go.

    CP 390+ , blood Moon/hundings rage/ agility set bonuses. 15k-28k DPS

I'm impressed. I'm cp 720+ and I do only 34k, I was nowhere near your score at your level, congrats. But I have to ask, is that solo buffed dps on a solo target? Because a 13k range of dps seems odd. Maybe it's because I have more practice and I am more consistent, but even with lag I rarely have more than a 5k variation, even in dungeons.

Yeah. Yeeeeeeeeah. I stopped using groupfinder a long time ago for a number of reasons. Biggest one was that I found a fun guild who actually supports my trolling antics (like meat sacking the Pinion), or running a full raid with everyone wearing nothing but the Maw of the Infernal set. So... Many... Daedroth. So many. So so many. We were still outmatched by Ozara, but eh. You get the idea.

@MokiDono @IndyWendieGo The example does not mean the event didn't happen nor implies fabrication of said event. I have experienced direct sexism in chat relating to domination and threats by other players based on my account name. Some people are nicer and some people are absolutely horrible in what they say to me when they realize I am a woman.

I have played with gladiators from wow and diamonds from lol and some men in voice chat directly insulted me because they knew I was a woman. I have been in voice chat with male friends who make sexist remarks to other women who they have constructed their own way of determining women apart from men in games. Being nice isn't a criteria for them. It is other subconscious feminine trait

Edit: other examples. A man said "I needed to be put on a leash" I didn't say anything obviously and my male friends and I laughed about it.

Another example is when I was threatened with sexual assault in multiple scenarios. I didn't add that in the original post cause it is heavy and just gets darker from there.

In my experience, the 'elite' in this situation are often the ones who tend to not give a *** who is controlling the character and care purely about performance.

Judging by the type of reply in this thread ("I can't prove it is sexism"), this is classic case of "feelings over facts"; conformation bias at it's finest.

I play with them because they are my friends and actually invite me back to group stuff. It's just some randoms that join that can get very toxic.

@BNOC , I don't keep a log of all the times I experienced sexism, that is just depressing. I also didn't figure out how to take screenshots till way later.

He may have removed me because of my gender but it was also a combination of the other things like my HP and how my current playstyle implies I am going for the same set. It's not an ultimatum. I just hate how my name can add leverage to their choice to exclude me from that one scenario and others as well. AvA had some examples too with voice chat but obviously I just left and the incident was through third party so not report worthy.

As for being kicked people do it for no reason, you can literally be the only player actually doing something in the dungeon & still get kicked.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if displaying the XBOX/PSN Gamertag on an online game is required by Sony/Microsoft.

How else would anyone be able to file a report on a player?

I've witnessed all kinds of bad behavior in ESO, but then there are bad characters out there. I've also found great behavior, and good guilds that are run by GMs who don't tolerate homophobic/misogynistic/racist a-holes.

I told you ZOS has access to character names associated with accounts and chat logs, other combat logs. A simple alternative like a Bnet Battletag or discord tag would suffice. There really is no impact on the game and a player's ability to retrieve general info about another player. I didn't know my account name was going to be public, usually there is an account name and a username for public settings.

So the following isn't your words? (Rhetorical question)
Iol I already said it. The other DPS was the leader. I did 25-65% of the group damage and got kicked cause he was the leader and he used his associate to kick me as my playstyle is obvious I am going for the same set. I laugh at the fact everyone is fixating on this one scenario to discredit me.

No where do you say that it was 'gender' related. No where did you say there was a conversation about your gender. You. Assumed. Such. Assumed. This is the reason why people took issue with your 'example'. Because it wasn't true and people can spot that a mile away. I certainly did. The example is indeed a lie. When you were/are vehemently defending that they booted you because of your UserID, instead of starting off with something a little more constructive. You're not going to bait me into a gender argument aside from the fact that you lied about the reasoning in the example. So you cannot expect myself, or others for that matter, to take you seriously.

My advice is to admit your faults and move on because at this point, all you'll be getting from me is 'Cool story, sis'.

    And ALSO:

What if I don't want to play with a player because, in seeing him/her in the dungeon or trial, he/she was a very bad player (up to me who I play with) or was trolling, having bad behavior, cheating, etc. and I don't want to play with that player ever again (but I don't know his/her ID for when I see him/her again)?

I am in a PVP guild and there are several women. They are treated like everyone else. I do not see the sexisim you speak of at least in my corner of ESO. It may just be the people you are choosing to hang out with. I can say the majority of people I have met in this game are not sexist toward women. Seems to reflect real life.

I do not want my gamer tag removed. It would need to be an option to hide or not.
