Companies do promos all the time, it doesnt give current subscribers the right to get anything free. You signed up for the subscription, if you don't like it then cancel. It's nice to get free stuff, but there's really no need for sod to give it unless they think the loss of subscriptions will hurt them.

Taking away stuff that subscribers have come to expect because it was traditionally done for years

Like a sugar junkie they beg for more and more and more crowns. Needing ever more to be satisfied.
I mean how much for an ugly metal spider? This is a membership bonus yes? We are supposed to feel pleased somehow?
This one is puzzled and more than a little confused by this approach.

Hmm. I mean, I may be misremembering the "for years", and event frequency in general has certainly risen a lot lately, but the first link you posted starts with "The ESO Plus Bonus Event is returning!" (Emphasis mine.) So I suspect that it's rather the archives that don't go as far back, not the event itself.
Yeah...3600 crowns (a measly 10% off) for a mount reskin and a small statuette for housing certainly doesn't make me feel as though my subscription has added value. It actually makes me want to grit my teeth and really work out whether I need a sub anymore.
If the ESO+ discount is only going to be 10%, make that across the board, not just an advance sale for coming items.
I feel like just another cow in line to be milked, rather than a valued subscriber who is getting their money's worth.

Why did you subscribe in the first place? There must have been something that made you sub such as the extra bank slots or maybe the crafting bag, that something is still there otherwise you would have already stopped subscribing before these new changes.

Remember when ZoS put out a dark elk mount for 4000 crowns?Who is actually going to spend that much on the reskinned spider? Ridiculous.
