Personally would be interested in tamer.

If not Necromancer, then tamer! Would be really nice. I am just not so convinced that it works when i look at the useless warden bear.

Ranger / Archer (Nature Magic Skill line), with pets. Customize able pets are unlocked through questing. Each pet has a different set of passives / abilities that can used in various type of builds..

Nature Magic is not in ESO, but hopefully at some point it will be added, they can decide on the Nature Magic player abilities / passives. Since they have done quite a good job with the rest of the skill lines.

My 1st pick. Necromancer. If we going off the character creation we are lacking a light armor class. The character creation screen has 2 Heavy Armor classes (Dragonknight/Templar), 2 Medium Armor classes (Nightblade/Warden) and 1 Light Armor class (Sorcerer). So a Necromancer class would fit in as a light armor.

I have (and I'm sure other's feel the same) no issues starting a fresh character from scratch and starting over with Skyshards, skill books, etc. If they make a class I enjoy playing that is and a Necromancer would do just that.

I'm suprised they haven't implemented a Necromancer set by now. A set where you have a percent chance to summon a zombie(s) or flesh/bone atronach during a light attach similiar to the Maw of the Infernal set. I'd bet money they will put one in the game eventually in or around a DLC centered on Necromacy or the Worm Cult.

What is Green Balance if I may ask?

I understand that a lot of people don't like the Warden, but we both have Ice and Nature magic in the game.

Since they are nerfing everything a monk class....So I can finally see a whine post about how smacking is OP.

Though for moi a lamia, which I would like with a skill line called b**** mode. :)

I think it's about time we had a new class to play, some might disagree with the Warden release not that long ago. If they were going to release a new class and were looking for players opinions, what would you like to see ?. Myself I would like to see a Necromancer.

well, have to let you that, you start this theme every few weeks.
and a sorc-like thing with some undead instead of pets is nothing, just nothing.

I really like how we got a skill line every one can use, it allows for more creative playstyles with the class we have now. I would like to see a more steady release of skill lines then a new class.

A magic melee line, a bound weapons line not unsimilar to the weapon lines we have now but made up of each weapon type, S&B, Dw, TH, BOW. each one being an ability with the filth being a skill to use with a weapon bound, press to toggle a weapon.
each should have an additional effect one top of returning magic on full heavy attack. the move set could be the same as the regular weapons.

Is that not what a Warden is. Pet summoning class using Nature magic sounds exactly like what a warden is/does already. Slap a bow on him (as i do on my Ranger Stamden) and there you go. I'm sure in the future Wardens will be able to swap Bear skins. They have Lizard-Bears (Murkmire), Lighting Atronach Bears, those glowing green made of wood bears, and a few other bear skins ZoS could give away (or sell knowing them).

I would play any new class they introduced as I am all for a multitude of classes. However, I don't think that we will get any new class any time soon.

What I would like to see instead was a rework of the current CP system, and replace that with branching classes into sub-classes.

The idea is brilliantly explained in this old thread: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/369966/class-morph-idea-mk-ii

    • Ice / nature : Warden
    • Electric / daedric / storm : Sorcerer
    • Night / assassin : Nightblade
    • light / aedric : templars

So, I think a class about WATER elements could be nice. I don't know, :)

Well, my fantasy is certainly an artificer class (that just as certainly will not happen). So let's go with bard. Bard is actually in the realm of possibility.

None - I'd like the Devs to understand the classes as they currently exist, recognize that there are a ton of unused, broken, and/or useless skills, and fix those. Balance out some of the deficiencies and generally accepted problems with what we have now and work towards improving them before attempting to add a new class in.

I get it - adding a new class in gives them something to market, and appeases people that don't realize it's just exacerbating the already-existing problems within the game. It's also probably easier than tinkering with existing classes. But it really gets frustrating that a majority of their "innovative" changes to balance the classes out are proc sets and tweaks to existing skills.

    NECROMANCY OR BUST!

Come on I've been wanting a necromancer class since ESO was announced to have Mannimarco as a central character. Like how could we not have necromancy in the era of the King of Worms was how I figured it. I had been playing a Necromancer since TES III Morrowind. Come on, just let me be a necromancer again @ZOS.

...and I disagree strongly with that thought.

I mean, yeah, it looks like a good idea for new players who only just joined the ESO community... but its anything but for the old hands who have been playing the game since summer 2014, and have a dozend characters already.
For us, its a very vexing thought, both for the reason of "...now I have to play yet another character thtough it all just to enjoy the new classyness? What the [censored]!" and even moreso for the reason of "Why the [censored] was this [censored] class not [censored] available back at [censored] launch, it [censored] would have made so much more [censored] sense for that main/alt of mine..."
    i vote:
new skill lines instead of new class.
Indeed! Because new skill lines can be picked up by any character, thereby neatly sidestepping the aforementioned vexcation.
So, instead of pushing a new class that only new players with few alts will like and old players with many alts will hate, I keep wanting stuff that can be "refitted" to -any- character, no matter if newly generated or played since launch.
Stuff like more weapon choices, more guild lines, and yes, more classyness, but as "prestige class" system. And thus I make suggestions like:
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/371862/additional-weapon-skill-ideas-mk-ii
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/387560/additional-guild-ideas-mk-ii
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/369966/class-morph-idea-mk-ii
(and especially the class morph idea in this contexct, as it would allow not -one- new class, but multiple new specializations for each of the existing classes, thus a much, much, Much wider range of character diversification... ;) )
Would love to play New Class or Race
I agree with new races, since those -could- easily be refitted to any old characters thanks to racechange tokens...

@TheShadowScout I’ve been playing since 2014 too. I’m going disagree with you. I know you hate new classes but I think it’s about time for one. Skill lines don’t change the core gameplay experiences. Classes do. Psjic skill line was a complete disappointment to me. It doesn’t hold a strong theme with variety like classes do. It offered me nothing and the grind for it sucked. With a new class I can play however I want, build it how I enjoy with in its theme. A skill line will never offer it that degree. Played all the classes. And they are stale to me after 4.5 years of playing

None, actually. What I would love would be ways to make classes even less restrictive. I know, it's already a great thing that any class can use any armour and any weapon, but I'd really, really be in favour of being able to use other classes' skills to a certain extent. For instance, I could really care less about the Dark Magic skills for Sorcerers, and I would gladly trade it in for one of the Warden or Templar skill lines.

It's mainly for lore reasons, to be honest. I don't see what would stop a Nightblade from dabbling some in Daedric Summoning, and I personally honestly dislike the "darker" theme Sorcerers have going on, so why not throw some nature- or light-based magic into the mix? How interesting would a Dragonknight/Templar mixture be? That would also make it easier to play any role on any class, which in theory of course is possible right now already, but given the complaints I see all the time on the forums about how certain classes should never even attempt to play a certain role, I don't think I have to explain how it's not completely feasible right now.

But if I had to think of a new class, it'd probably be a bard of sorts... there'd be so many possibilities with all the tonal architecture/thu'um/sword singing we have in the lore :)
